We got the chilli chicken and butter naan. It came out really fast with good quantity and the owner was so nice. I’m really picky when it comes to food especially South Asian as I have high expectations but this definitely met my expectation (if you don’t believe me look at my other reviews). All their meat is halal too!!!! Also, not sure what a previous review mentioned about their health safety rating, they have their rating posted on a bulletin board and received 100 on health standards.
Highly highly recommend this Indian restaurant in the cumming area and the restaurant looks great too.

Desi Street has a really fun street-style café vibe that immediately sets the tone. We tried the onion chili uttapam, chaat platter, and pav bhaji—everything was fresh, served hot, and very tasty. The uttapam was especially good and clearly made to order. The pav bhaji was enjoyable but could use a bit more masala and garlic for extra punch. Overall, a great spot, and I’d definitely come back—especially for their South Indian dishes.

We ordered paneer butter masala with naan and fried rice. We also tasted their vada pav. We loved it. I found the food very flavorful. Not very oily and no food color which was a plus right there. The fried rice definitely hit differently. Felt like the rice from the streets of Mumbai.

First visit and it would be last. When we walked in, set up was clean and impressive but entire restaurant was empty (one other family was ready to head out). Went ahead and ordered 4 items. For our suprise, first item came out after 30 mins, taste was average. Then got the second item which was suppose to be coconut chicken. There was hardly any coconut taste in that but here was definitely oil which we had to separate it out and taste was nothing still in that chicken. Then we had waited one hour for 4th item, when we checked the lady forgot to place the order or what we don’t know but it was brought us when asked of it and that taste was very bad too. Main thing was there was no courtesy check also if the food was good or need help with any, nothing. Very poor customer service and overall bad experience. Not visiting or suggesting the place to anyone.

I had the Chicken Vindaloo and my wife and I shared a Mango Lassi as well as 1 Irani Chai and 1 Masala Chai. Everything was delicious and we live the location of this restaurant as it is convenient to several stores and the shopping mall nearby. The Bhature Bread is also good, and one of the few places we’ve found that actually makes it. The staff is very friendly!Bring your family and friends and enjoy this wonderful restaurant.

Had a great experience at Desi Street – Flavors of India!
We tried the Chicken 555, Chili Fish, and Chicken Biryani, and everything was packed with authentic Indian flavors. The Chicken 555 was perfectly spicy and crispy with just the right balance of masala. The Chili Fish was fresh, well-seasoned, and had that perfect Indo-Chinese kick.
The Chicken Biryani was aromatic, flavorful, and cooked really well — the rice was fluffy and the chicken was tender.
Overall, the food tasted fresh and satisfying. Definitely a great spot if you’re craving bold, desi flavors. Will be coming back to try more dishes!

We recently tried this Indian restaurant on a friend’s recommendation, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredibly authentic, with everything made from scratch—you can really taste the quality and care in every dish. The chicken masala was especially delicious, along with the other dishes we ordered.
The owner was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying more from the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who loves real, flavorful Indian cuisine!

The ambiance of this place is nice with good décor and seating, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. I tried the vada pav and momos, and neither tasted good.I couldn’t even finish my meal. The vada pav was dry and lacked flavor, while the momos were greasy and not appetizing. To make things worse, the staff was not friendly or attentive, which really took away from the experience. I lost interest in trying anything else from the menu. Definitely not worth a second visit.

Desi Streets has truly won my heart. From the moment you walk in the staff makes you feel so welcomed and they are incredibly humble, kind, and attentive. The food is simply unbeatable. Every dish taste super fresh, authentic, and made with so much care. Hands down, this is the best Indian food I have ever had. Desi Streets will always be my top pick. I highly recommend this place it’s truly something special.
