I truly enjoyed eating here and can’t wait to come back to try other items.
We ordered a chicken burger, chicken kebab, paneer sandwich, veggie wrap, and a grilled sandwich (not pictured). Everything was delicious except for the grilled Bombay sandwich — it tasted a bit too basic.

We ordered medhu vada this morning for takeout, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The vadas had a strong smell of old oil and were not edible at all — we couldn’t even eat a single one. We’ve always enjoyed food from Desi District and come here regularly, but this time it was a total waste of money and food. I really hope the management looks into the quality of oil being used to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

The best mutton roast made by Chef Guru. You all must try with white rice or Sambar rice at home. Make sure to request to add cashews and ROAST it for that day extra dryness.

I visited the pooja store inside Desi District on Sunday, Dec 28, to buy dhoop sticks and deepam oil. I was told this was the only pure pooja oil, that it would last much longer than regular Deepam oil, and based on that assurance I paid $15.99. The same type of deepam oil outside the same store costs around $3.99.
In reality, the deepam lasts only 1–2 hours, much less than normal oil. After checking the label, I realized the oil was expired.
Label details:
MFG: Aug 2022
Best Before: Aug 2024
Selling expired pooja items at a premium price and calling them “pure” is unacceptable. Faith and tradition should not be used to mislead customers or overcharge them. I hope the store takes this seriously and stops selling expired pooja products. *DONT LOOT THE MONEY IN THE NAME OF GOD*

I had biryani, romali roti, and chicken mandi — and wow, it was amazing!

The biryani was super flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and perfectly cooked rice. Every bite was packed with taste. The romali roti was soft and fresh, great for scooping up everything on the plate.

But the real star? The chicken mandi. So juicy, tender, and full of smoky flavor. The rice underneath was tasty on its own too — like it soaked up all that goodness.

Honestly, I loved everything. Great flavors, good portions, and just a super satisfying meal. Definitely coming back for more!

10/10 would recommend!

Hari did a great job with the cake for my nephew’s birthday! The design looked amazing, and the taste was just perfect — fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Everyone at the party loved it.
Hari was very professional and made sure every detail turned out just right. Highly recommend him and Desi District for any special occasion cakes!

Every weekend I order appetizers from here, but the taste has been getting worse week after week. Today, I tried their Apollo fish, and it was completely spoiled with a strong, unpleasant smell while eating. I’m writing this review because of the spoiled food they are serving through online orders. I will never order from this restaurant again. Worst food experience.

Got together with a few friends to try this place out, and let me tell you—I was mind blown by the live Pani Puri cart! As a forever Pani Puri lover, this was definitely the highlight of my visit. The crisp puris, the perfectly spiced water, and the fresh fillings made it an experience worth coming back for!

After indulging in Pani Puri, we ordered a few dishes, and while everything was flavorful, it felt like something was missing—not really sure what, but it just didn’t hit that wow factor for me. That being said, the food was still pretty decent, and the variety on the menu is impressive.

I have to mention—the graffiti walls were amazing and added such a cool vibe to the place.

With such a wide range of options, I’m definitely planning another visit to explore their Dosa selections next time. Can’t wait to see what else this place has to offer!

A wonderful place to enjoy authentic Indian food! The flavors were rich, well-balanced, and truly reminded me of home-style Indian cooking. From the perfectly spiced curries to the fresh naan, everything tasted fresh and flavorful.

The ambience was welcoming and clean, making it a great spot for both family dining and casual outings. The staff was polite, attentive, and happy to help with recommendations, which made the experience even better.

We had Dosa, Burger and chats items. All were fabulous
