Amazing small restaurant that really has amazing food quality. Went in and menu was solid and the staff is really nice. Also the anda paratha was just like the back home pathan owned nashta spots. Really reminded me of the quetta chai spots and good chai. This is so far the best spot ive had in sacramento, way better than many bay area locations and we were visiting. Would recommend others to come here if they want solid pakistani food. Honestly idk what these bad reviews are for tbh

Absolutely horrible experience with them. The chicken achari handi had poorly cut pieces of chicken in it. The naans were so chewy and rubbery that eating them felt like doing cardio for 4 hours straight. The chicken biryani portion was so small I was embarrassed to even throw the rice to the birds AND the rice STANKED. The best part? 2 of my seekh kebabs had barbecued hair deeply embedded in them. After spending most of the day out at the Nimbus Hatchery showing the nincompoops how to properly remove the roe and milk the bucks…I was beat, and ready for something that warmed the soul. I asked a couple of newbies where to get a big bowl of thick clam chowder, and they said I should go to Desi Curry for the best soup in Sacramento! Well, not knowing any better, and having trust in my fellow man…I went. As it turns out Desi Curry is an Afghani restaurant, and is about as far away from clam chowder as pocket lint in a street bums coat.
So, I asked for anything resembling soup and a salad, and boy did they deliver! The flavors and textures were spot on, very delicious and worthy of stopping. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Overall great tasting food. Liked the nihari, naan & chicken seekh kabobs. Not overly spiced and flavor was great. The lady at the front was very nice. She took the order and made and served the food. Hardworking family owned restaurant.
The restaurant needs some attention on decor and overall look of it. Maybe play some light music in the back and add linens to make it warm.

Absolutely amazing! The chana paratha is perfectly spiced and comforting, the shami kabab is tender and full of authentic flavor, and the chicken wrap is fresh, juicy, and incredibly satisfying. Consistently delicious every time—highly recommended!

Really good food! Super authentic.
Excellent nihari, brain masala and halwa puri that’s served all day long!
I love that they open early and that everything is made fresh. Their naans are stellar and so were their parathas.
Everything was exceptional, fresh and authentic!! Will be back for more soon

This Pakistani restaurant delivered flavors so bold and joyful that I found myself smiling halfway through the meal. The samosas were crispy perfection, and the chicken karahi tasted like it came straight from someone’s treasured family recipe. The staff were upbeat, making the visit unexpectedly fun. A cheerful, delicious stop.

The food was delicious and authentic. The paratha was fresh. The chai was not too sweet and the perfect blend of spices. One of the best Pakistani Breakfast I’ve had in awhile. True mom and pop restaurant.
