Desi Bites is not a classic Indian restaurant—it’s more like Indian food served in a fast-food style. The dishes come out very quickly and warm, which is great. The menu is quite large with many unique items you don’t usually find at every Indian restaurant. I especially enjoyed the Indo-Chinese style noodles, which were delicious. The tandoori chicken was good, though it didn’t really have the strong tandoor flavor I expected. The biggest downside was the cleanliness—the place was messy. I understand it was busy, but they should still take better care of the dining area. Because of that, I’m deducting one point.

I have ordered mutton Biryani. The pieces weren’t cooked properly and the rice is okay. It’s almost uncooked meat. I have informed the receptionist but he didn’t reacted to it. What is the use of just eating the biryani rice if the pieces weren’t cooked.

Price remains the same, if you order in DD then $2 up charge, I am ok to pay for the convenience factor. It’s the size of the container that they launched may be sometime this week, as i ordered last week with old container sizes. New ones are a joke, very small!! Reduce the quantity and charge same!! Desi Bites catered an event I helped plan and came on time and with such delicious hot food! We got to taste a variety of their menu and everything tasted incredible. There was something for everyone in our group of 80! People were raving about how good the meal was for hours after. There was also such a generous amount of food where our group could get seconds if they wished. Loved our experience!

One of the worst biryanis I’ve ever had in my 28 years. I’ve travelled across many states in the USA and tried biryani in countless places, but Desibites easily ranks at the bottom. This is an honest review — the quality has gone down terribly.
Today they advertised a “special offer” — $20 for 2 biryanis on Friday evening. Honestly, it feels like they’re just trying to clear out old or leftover biryani from the week. The taste, freshness, and texture were all horrible. The rice was dry, the chicken had no flavor, and the masala tasted stale. Absolutely disappointing.
Worst, worst biryani ever. Please don’t waste your money here, especially on weekends. I’ve been a regular customer for a while, and trust me — except for the tea, nothing else is worth ordering

I ordered takeout from here recently, and unfortunately the chaat(Masala puri) had a very strong chemical-like taste. I couldn’t identify exactly what ingredient caused it, but it was definitely not normal food flavor and made it feel unsafe to eat, so I had to stop.
This wasn’t a matter of spice level or personal preference, it genuinely tasted off. I’m disappointed because I was expecting better quality and basic food safety. I hope the restaurant looks into this seriously.

We had them cater a large group and holy cow! I truly don’t know every entree we had, but we had WAY MORE than enough food and everything was incredible. I don’t eat a ton of meat, so I stuck with either the sauces to dip the bread in or the cheese magic tray. Everything was incredible. 10/10 for all food preferences and dietary restrictions. So accommodating.

Desi Bites is conveniently located right next to KC India Mart, making it a perfect stop after grocery shopping.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too crowded. I ordered the Masala Dosa and Mango Mastani — though the Mastani was more like a Mango Shake, both items were tasty and well-portioned. They also have sweets.
It’s a nice spot to enjoy some Indian food right after picking up your desi groceries.

TERRIBLE! We ordered a Chicken Biriyani with higher spicy level. The food was spice but tasted like they dumped raw chili powder and mixed it just before serving. It was terrible!!!!

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered Chicken 65 Pulav on DoorDash and they sent biryani instead. I also ordered Kaju Paneer Pulav and the paneer was so hard it was like chewing rubber. Completely bad quality food.
When I called the restaurant, the girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept arguing instead of fixing the problem and kept saying “it is biryani” like we don’t know what we ordered. No courtesy, no responsibility. While we were still talking, she simply hung up on us and said to contact DoorDash if we had any issue.
This place does not care about customers at all. Wrong items, horrible food quality, and shockingly rude behavior on top of it. Very, very bad experience. I will never order from here again and strongly warn others to avoid this place.
