Positive –
Irani chai, can never go wrong with chai here, soo good, I usually like to have chai with bun maska, here chai is very affordable but bun maska is way expensive.
Tiffins- most of the tiffins I tried here (not buffet), I tried punugulu, dosa, bonda they are so good, fresh and tasty. Special shout out to the peanut chutney, thick and flavorful chutney that enhances the taste of tiffins.
I tried noodles too, I liked it.
Negative –
Buffet- I tried their buffet, not sure if that particular day was not great or it’s the same everytime, i expected the quality of food I had ordering separately. I know usually the quality in buffet is little low but here it was way low, very disappoined, they had dosa, idli, pongal, Puri , not even one item was good, not even the chutney that I love here.
Biryanis – i tried ghee roast mutton biryani ( recommended by their employee) which was utter flop, I tried chicken biryani, fry piece biryani, every biryani was a flop, never felt like eating biryani, too oily and tasteless.
Appreciate the quantity of the biryani.
Will be a perfect place if the biryani are taken care.
Will also visit to try curries with naan.
I visited this Indian restaurant today.
Food: Tasty and good in quality.
Service: Very disappointing. Staff didn’t smile, didn’t respond properly, and the atmosphere was not welcoming.(-1000000000%)
Packaging: Quantity was less than expected and not sufficient.(-600%)
I initially planned to dine in, but because of the poor service and atmosphere, I switched to takeout.
Food is good, but service and customer care need major improvement.
When I politely asked for a little chili powder with punugu, the response felt rude and careless, as if they were just throwing it on. That left me feeling uncomfortable and sad. I switched to takeout.
Walk in and out smoke enters and the place reeks of smoke. And the price is not low. Go to the Thai place next door. Clean and worth the money.
A Cosco water bottle is $2 and they do nkt provide free water. Got to look up city rules for restaurants. Let the health department decide.
We often stop by this South Indian restaurant for tea and snacks. Their chocolate pastry and traditional masala dosa are my favorites. Their non-vegetarian biriyani is great; however, we find the amount of spice to be excessive. Don’t miss their weekend breakfast buffet, which offers a wide variety of delectable food at affordable prices. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food serving time was not excessively long. The atmosphere here brings back memories of our time in college back home.
