Came with my crew after a long day, and I had to point out the bad reviews posted do not add up. The food was amazing I went with my whole crew who all loved the food and hoped to work in the area again just to be able to stop by and eat here again. The biryani is amazing! Ordered through Uber eats the other night. So embarrassing for my guests. Beef curry looked old and was so stingy with it. The food gave us diarrhea. I get upset when the Bengali owned places do this. Never again. Biryani was ok but not sure what made us ill.

I have been at Deshi restaurant the for first time while looking for a halal option nearby. I called and ordered chicken and lamb gyro platter for pick up and all was ready quicker than I expected. The platters with white sauce were delicious and I think it is a pretty generous portion for the price. The sellers were so kind and friendly and made sure I got all the sauce and ingredients I preferred. I felt so lucky to find a halal, delicious option for a great price. I highly recommend . Thank you!

The older man was courteous, friendly and promptly gave my food. I would have given the chicken and rice a 4 stars out of 5 but the rice didnt feel as fresh and plump as I hoped, not sure which day they make the batch maybe Friday and I went Sunday so maybe its reheated or he just cooks it’s that way. But chicken was fresh and tasty and he followed my request on salad. If he can make the rich more soft I will give him even 4.5 stars out of 5 and maybe he can give a bit more sauce. Store is clean.

Great spot for Halal not overpriced either. Love their gyros, gyro platters and samosas/singara, biryani, curry. I honestly feel like this restaurant is highly underrated…deserves 5 stars across the board.
