My favorite dive bar in Astoria. I’ve been coming here with friends for twenty years. It has a warm inviting feel for a dive bar. The drinks are always poured well. They have two pool tables open for free play mid week. Six or so video poker machines. A updated jukebox. Shuffleboard table. And taco Tuesday is a local favorite here. My friend Paula made them famous here. Only 2 bucks each! Daily and weekly drink specials. It’s a local favorite, stop in it will be yours too.

Bartendress yelled out, as our party of 6 and one other woman walked in (before midnight) “I ALREADY CALLED LAST CALL!” And then locked the front door. She was extremely rude and wasn’t interested in making money or making the owner money. I’d fire her if she worked for me. I’d give this dive negative stars if I could. My prediction will be that it won’t be open for much longer with how customers are treated. I do not recommend this place nor will I ever waste my energy stepping foot in there again. I don’t usually give bad reviews, if I have nothing nice to say, I keep it to myself, but this place deserves it.

Incredible associates; helpful in every way. After a day filled with angry, impatient and rude people, I was pleased to find a smile and the person willing to go that extra mile in order to make my day brighter. I can’t say enough about what that meant; I found what I was searching for right under my nose. Don’t judge this book by the the cover. Thank you Desdemona, I will see you soon.
