We ordered the Desano, a perfect balance of sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella, and smoky, creamy scamorza cheese. The Neapolitan-style crust was exceptional, with just the right amount of salt to bring all the flavors together. Wow! Happened upon this spot when looking for a drink before a show. As a woman was leaving she remarked to us ‘If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, this is it!” We weren’t looking for food but we ventured in. A very friendly woman greeted us and explained the drink options as well as the pizza. We selected pizza and a wine and WOW! Amazing! We’ll be back time and time again.

The pizza tastes like straight from Italy. I loved it and I can really recommend the garlic butter both normal and spicy. I ordered the Margarita DOP in medium size and it was so delicious. Will definitely come back soon.

Awesome pizza spot! I usually am weary of Neapolitan pizza because it gets over charred for me. Dasano was fantastic! They cook it perfectly, the ingredients felt fresh, and it was just so dang good. The sauce was unreal. We settled on a Margherita pizza. The interior is small, so be prepared to share tables if applicable. It’s a great spot for pizza.

My husband and I wandered around alot of downtown on presidents day desperate for something to eat when we stumbled across this spot.
The lady at the order counter was so incredibly kind, bubbly, happy. Such a great feeling when you come in the door to be greeted by someone like her (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name)
She recommended a couple pizzas and butters to us. Let me tell you I have never had a staff recommendation hit so hard. The pizza was awesome, just freaking great if I’m being honest.
Theres limited seating but that’s this places only down fall. What a gem

Delicioso! Brick oven pizza cooked perfect. I ate (all of) the margherita pie with more fabulous sauce and mozzarella. Selection of drinks from the cooler. The servers are attentive as well as the owner who was on premises. Definitely grab a cup of the garlic butter! It will take your pizza to the optimal level!!

Went to DeSano in downtown Austin and had the Margherita pizza. The crust was light and perfectly charred, and the ingredients tasted super fresh. It’s a simple pie, but done really well. The space is casual and lively, great for a low-key dinner with friends. Solid spot if you’re craving legit Neapolitan pizza.

The pizza was so fresh and full of flavor! Great service, I was in town for a conference and just stopped in and wasn’t sure about what I should order. The manager told me he would choose for me. The pizza was perfect! The right balance of cheese sauce and crust. If you have the chance, do your taste buds a favor and stop by!! We were planning to take it to go but thought we would have a slice before we left (at the managers suggestion) and ended up staying and eating the entire pizza! Fun little spot with great pizza
