DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana was basically very delicious where the pizza crust was like eating fresh bread. This was my first visit to this establishment and this location was recently opened. It does have great character and looks like everything here was imported from Italy. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. It was very simple with one open room with long picnic style tables and a room preparing the pizza dough. I am not sure if this room was pressurized for the dough making. Looked like covered outdoor seating was being added.
I ordered the 9″ Margherita D.O.P. and it was an excellent Neapolitan pizza. It tasted very fresh and was rather large . The crust had that great mixture of softness and burntness from the wood burning ovens. All the ingredients worked very well together.

Very excited DeSano is in the neighborhood, but they need to improve on consistency. You can see where our Americana/NY pizza came with almost no cheese (first picture) – more like focaccia. That said, the previous ones we ordered were excellent.

So so cute inside, vibes were immaculate. Unfortunately for my wallet we’re a hop and a skip away, but it’s worth it!! Love the condiment bar, well presented and stocked. We ordered the Desano which had amazing flavor/toppings and the crust was so deliciously crunchy.

Great pizza and great atmosphere. The cashier told us we can’t go wrong with anything, and since it was our 1st time, go with what we know, such as pepperoni, and see how they do it, and the go from there. Fabulous advice. Delicious pizza. Great atmosphere.

Incredible thin crust, authentic Neapolitan pizza! The service was amazing. We were debating between 2 pizzas and the man taking our order spent a few minutes explaining the differences and convinced us of the authenticity of this place. He gave good advice because the pizza was delicious and the ingredients felt very fresh (Margherita Classica VPN). We tried 2 cannolis for dessert which were very filling and a perfect finish to the meal (highly recommend the Traditional). The food came out really fast and the setup of the restaurant was fun. We will be coming back the next time we are in Austin!

Pizza was delicious! Food came out quickly & fresh. Loved the drink selection, good N/A options as well as Peroni on tap. Lucky was the highlight of our visit! Helped us through the menu & recommended a tasty pie. The dough was perfectly chewy & cooked with ample blisters IYKYK.

This is the second time my fiancé and I have been here, and the food is always amazing. The main reason I wanted to write this review is because of an interaction I had with one of the employees.
I didn’t catch her name, but she truly stood out she was a young black female. We visted on January 31st around 7pm We had such a great conversation, and her customer service was exceptional. Even in such a busy environment, she was personable, well-spoken, and genuinely attentive not on autopilot like you sometimes see in fastpaced places.
The entire staff was great, The pizza was AMAZING! She really made an impression on me. Because of her and the overall experience, we’ll definitely be back.

I ordered a Neapolitan-style pizza that was very good overall — great crust with light charring, fresh mozzarella, and a bright, flavorful tomato sauce. It had that nice wood-fired character you’d expect.
The only downside was the amount of Italian sausage — one slice only had a single small piece, so it felt a bit sparse. The flavor was great, but I wish it had been more evenly distributed. Having been to Naples and tried authentic Neapolitan pizza, this was close but not quite at that level.
On the plus side, the staff was super nice and very helpful, especially since this location doesn’t have an online presence yet, so I had to order in person. Overall, a solid spot for a quality Neapolitan-style pie — I’ll definitely be back to try more and will make sure it has sausage o. It.

Delicious! We ordered one gluten-full pizza and one gluten free and both were fantastic. Our 3 picky kids approved! We brought our Italian au pair and she fully enjoyed as well! The pizza dough they gave the kids to play with was a MAJOR hit and made waiting for our food enjoyable! This is a new favorite family spot for us!
