I found a rubber band in my food. It was baked into the ricotta so deeply that i ended up chewing it before i realized it was a RUBBER BAND. Both employees that i spoke to were incredibly apologetic and sweet. However, who i assume was the manager was ridiculous. I first alerted a male employee to the rubber band and he made multiple attempts to call over the manager who refused saying “no im not gonna move.” This caused him to have to physically walk over to her to get her to even come talk to me at all. Then when she came over it seemed like she didn’t care at all due to her attitude. She asked where i found the rubber band and i explained in the ricotta and pointed to where it was. She then said “oh that makes sense we tie the ricotta bags with rubber bands.” If anything i hope this review reveals that bags containing food should not be tied with rubber bands. I will admit that the rubber band did appear to be food grade but i still doubt it was very hygienic as rubber bands are more difficult to keep clean especially since it was on the outside of the bag. I also hope that those rubber bands are latex free as someone with an allergy could have easily reacted and I easily could have choked. The manager offered me a refund or a remade pizza. I opted for the remade pizza as i had just gotten there with a large group of friends. My remade pizza come out burnt. In the end i paid 22 dollars with tax and tip to chew on a dirty rubber band and eat a half burnt pizza.

amazing location but poor management. they’re out of so much stuff. Very narrow menu, no chicken options. Taste okay but could be much better than that since they are using wooden oven here.

The pizza would’ve have been 5 stars had there not been so many burnt pieces. Agree with others, would likely eat take out than dine in again. Staff weren’t friendly inside reminds me of a cafeteria. We went right before the dinner rush on a Friday and it was empty.

Well, we went to the Waverly location on a Friday evening and the entire outside area was absolutely filthy. Not only was it covered in bird poop on the tables in the chairs, the railings and everything, but there was so much trash out there with napkins smashed pizza on the grill. It was very disgusting.
When we were there, it was a very busy and they definitely had a lot of staff working. There was only one couple ahead of us and they ordered and left and then it was our turn and the cashier was kind of rude and acted like we were a nuance. The food wasn’t bad at all, and it was large portions, but the outside was really bad and while they did mess up my order, they did fix it once I requested it to be fixed.

This place was our favorite neighborhood pizza for a few years i think not anymore unfortunately. It’s just sad when instead of your expectations to receive nicely made fresh pizza for dinner you get a piece of burnt uneven cut piece of dough. I understand it’s may be hard to find a proper employee for place like this but please train your staff at least make food more presentable. People are paying and deserve to get at least normally looking food!

Restaurant is clean and nice. Staff is kind but you have to wait a while for someone to come to the front stand and they talk about things that shouldn’t be heard by customers in an open kitchen environment. Order was disastrously wrong. Half of our party cannot eat pork. We got 2 16” pizzas and some meatballs. One pizza had pepperoni. After picking up our order, we were missing half of our meatballs ordered, our 16” pizza with pepperoni came perfectly, but our pizza that was meant for the non-pig eaters came as a 12” instead of a 16”, so we barely had any food to split compared to the pork meatballs and 16” pepperoni pizza. We arrived at the pickup time and was told it was be another 2 minutes only to wait for another 30 minutes only to get home and find out the food was wrong. Incredibly disappointing.

Had pizza from Desano Pizzeria at Waverly. The dining area is huge with tons of tables. There is also a bar that is fully stocked. I ordered the 12″ Margherita classic and a 12″ Marinara. If you order the Marinara, it comes with no cheese. The pizza was made fresh and came out fast. Both of the pies were cooked just right! You could taste all the spices that are used to make the pizza. You have to stop in to order a pizza.

I have never had a restaurant kill my mood so fast. I went at 7:45 on a Thursday. Should have had a beer special, they had already stopped serving alcohol. There urinal and both sinks in the men’s restroom were out of order.
After we finished our pizza, which was actually quite good, they came up and asked if the new pizza they had was ours? So I guess we got the wrong “sausage and cheese” pizza.
Overall, I would order it online, but never go in person if you can help it. The taste of the pizza is the only reason for the second star.

Kids were vaping around my food. My in laws were in town and we wanted to eat local. One pizza was cold, and the others took forever. When we went in to ask about the pizza, one of the employees was extremely kind. The others were young, unapologetic, and rude about the wait time. While we were waiting we witnessed a young girl vaping, not only in front of customers but in front of the food in the OPEN KITCHEN where all customers can see. Absolutely crazy, go to inizios instead lol.

This place is awesome. Vegans can customize their pizzas here to eliminate any animal products. I had mine loaded with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach on tomato sauce. Do you guys know that actually in Italy they don’t eat so much cheese as us in US, they often do their pizzas just like I had it? It was delicious. Service was excellent, fast and polite. This place is spacious, so you can come with big companies, clean and very stylish. The smell of natural wood and fire makes it even better. Great job!
