This was by the far the best experience I’ve ever had in a hibachi place. We went with a group of 20 friends. The hibachi chefs were SO funny and engaging. The food was out of this world! The music and vibe was great. It was in the pricey side BUT for the amount of food they give you and the sides included (like edamame and noddles that I normally order separately) this was worth the price. We live in NY, but next time we’re in PA, we HAVE to come back.

One of the best hibachi experiences I’ve ever had
Desaki is probably the best hibachi place I’ve ever been to — no lie. The food was top-tier, the flavors were on point, and everything came out hot and fresh. The whole experience was dope — the atmosphere, the vibe, and the chef’s tricks made it feel like a real show. You could tell they put effort into the full experience, not just the food.
The service was great too — super friendly and on point from the moment we walked in.
Now with all that said, this is definitely a once-a-year kind of spot for me. It’s extremely expensive and honestly a little overpriced… but the flavor? The best-tasting hibachi I’ve had anywhere — and I’ve been to a lot of hibachi spots. This one just hits different.
If you’re looking for quality and a full experience, it’s worth trying at least once.
Rated this place three stars because I believe it’s way overpriced.
Yeah, the food’s solid… but I wouldn’t go out of my way unless you’re ready to drop some serious cash.

I’m from Long Island and I go out to eat usually once per week. This was the worst quality food that I have had at hibachi and wildly more expensive. I mentioned it to the manager and he completely blew me off. Instead of asking about any specifics or what could be done. He said thanks for your feedback. He knows he is running a low quality operation. It’s pretty unfortunate because we’ve been here before and it was great.

Biggest ripoff ever. We ordered two hibachi dinners, two kids hibachi dinners. And had four Tito’s and clubs. The bill was close to $400. And they hibachi portion sizes were not even that big, nor did it taste like anything special. I’ll never go back.

Tourist trap. The food was EXTREMELY salty, all the food from rice to proteins were drenched in soy sauce, scallops were severely undercooked, and I was served the scrapping of burnt rice. The service, ambiance, and entertainment were really nice, but the food is not recommended.

We asked to be seated so our little kids could see. We were a large table of 11. The hostess said to talk to your server and then proceeded before we could talk to the server to fill the table so that our kids could not see the show. We were seated at an adjunct table that was not even part of the main event.
