Food was amazing. I had the eggs Benedict and it has become my favorite. Flavors are slightly different than the typical eggs benny, but all the flavors went well together. The scramble was so creamy and buttery and so delicious. Lattes are served in a wide cup that it looks like a bowl, but the caramel latte was very well made. The berry bostock was delightful with the almond flavor, but would have been even better warmed up. I think next time, I’ll bring one home and heat it up. Brought home a pear brioche (delicious!), black & white muffin (husband loved it) and a huge slice of salted peanut butter chocolate cake (huge hit in my house!). We will be back for more. We saw a pizza being served and it looked incredible.

We enjoyed our brunch at Deru with the rest of the family. The menu features modern American dishes with generous portions. I loved the Salted Caramel Latte and the Market Breakfast I ordered—we couldn’t even finish everything. The staff were very friendly, and the place was already packed around 11:00 AM. Making a reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends.

Warm, friendly staff and impressively fast service. The food tastes incredibly fresh- truly farm-to-table- and the ambience is super lively. My favorite was the hummus, every ingredient was perfectly crunchy and fresh, and I loved the little pops of pomegranate.

Amazing! Worth a detour and a 1 hour wait!
The service was top tier, matched by the food and drinks! Sandwich was perfect, and I have never had a hot chocolate like this before.

Always a go to if I’m in Kirkland or nearby. Service is great (scan, order and eat), food is amazing and though seats are limited, never hurts to eat in the car or take it to go (they have a great to go system).
Love their fries, yogurt bowl, pb and chocolate cake and their salad is one of my favorite salads in “Seattle”.

Finally made it to DERU and it did not disappoint. The place has a fun atmosphere with a cozy patio that’s perfect for hanging out. Our servers were genuinely warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
The yam fries and garlic knots were instant favorites, and the pizzas tasted fresh with great ingredients. The mushroom pizza leaned a bit heavy on garlic, I personally would’ve loved a little more goat cheese to balance it out. And the cake… wow. The slice was huge and absolutely decadent.
We had such a great time and are already looking forward to coming back to explore more from the menu.

Used to be a good deal but not anymore since portion got a lot smaller. First pic is Sept 2025. Second pic is from Feb 2025.
The other side salad served at the same time for other tables also seems to be more than mine so maybe it’s discrimination or bad luck.
Spoke to the manager and was just told all the salad weight the same and they changed the mix. Nothing was done about it and my salad is definitely smaller than what others had gotten in the restaurant.

Deru Market is a gem! We came for Sunday brunch and left really impressed.
Food:
Beet Lemon Muddle (3/5): Refreshing, tart, with a hint of sweetness, sort of like lemonade with a beet twist. Not my favorite, but interesting.
Blueberry Brioche (4/5): Light, fluffy, and fresh. Just sweet enough without being heavy.
Toast with Butter & Jam (5/5): Thick-cut bread, generously buttered, with plenty of flavorful jam. Comfort food perfection.
Farm Scramble (5/5): Outstanding. The eggs were cooked beautifully, the veggies fresh, and the broccoli was crispy and perfectly seasoned. Easily the star of the meal.
Service: Friendly and efficient, though nothing over-the-top.
Ambiance: Both indoor and outdoor seating are inviting. Great for families or a casual date. Even on a busy Sunday brunch, it felt lively but never overcrowded.
Overall, an excellent spot worth visiting. Delicious food, generous portions, and a relaxed atmosphere.

We visited last sunday before superbowl. We had made a reservation online. When we arrived, she (standing near the entrance, with brown colors hair and husky voice) told us, we could be seated outdoors within 5 minutes, but that indoor seating would require a wait of over 30 minutes. So we said outdoors was fine.
Actually, we were waiting longer than 5 minutes, but we had no complaints. cuz we know how busy it is usually
At that time, a guy walked in without a reservation and asked how long the wait would be. The same staff told him it would be about an hour to an hour and a half. And after a short conversation, she suddenly said, “Oh! I know your mom, you’re neighbors!” like that. (How did we know? How can not we know?! she spoke really loudly!)
A few minutes later, when he came back with his parents, she said, “If you’re okay with outdoor seating, I can get your seat right away,” and they were immediately taken to a table.
Meanwhile, we had been standing there waiting for almost 15 minutes. It was awful.
Of course, I understand that you may want to prioritize regular customers. That’s understandable. But if she was going to do that, she should have at least done it discreetly so we wouldn’t notice.
I love your food (specially the pizza). but the pizza also was burnt…
