Nice location. There is nothing outstanding about the food. Ordered an omelet with Swiss cheese and no American cheese. American cheese will make any dish a failure. My omelet arrived with a beautiful topping of Swiss cheese. I was overwhelmed with joy in anticipation of a tasty omelet minus the disgusting American cheese. Upon taking my first bite of this beautiful omelet, I choked. American cheese, oh my God, they put American cheese inside my omelet. It was oozing all over the place. The server, who was very nice, returned the failure of an omelet and returned several minutes late with a tasty omelet with the perfect amount of Swiss cheese. On a positive note, the food is much better than John Williams Bakery.

Our favorite diner on the west side of the state, the personnel are so attentive and dedicated that it makes every visit unique; their food is delicious and abundant. Definitely a stop you should add to your travel itinerary.

Today we ordered the Broasters Chicken (16 piece) which comes in at over $40.00. It was the second time getting this meal and we decided that after a mediocre first experience we would give a local business a second chance. This time around it was way below par as to what would be considered good fried chicken. The pieces were so small they could have been mistaken for quail. I’ve attached a picture taken on a saucer of one of the wings compared next to a teaspoon. The cook did not cater to adjust cooking times for the very small pieces so all sixteen pieces were way overcooked. There was nothing appealing whatsoever about the fried chicken today. The sides were ok so no complaints there. We would not be getting this meal again. Broasters has fallen flat. As a side note, the fried chicken from TOPS Supermarket is 10 times better – bigger pieces, more flavor, better tasting…so better deal for money spent.

Very homey place. We were greeted right away. Got our drinks within 5 minutes. Our order was taken shortly thereafter. We went there for the fish fry and were not disappointed. The portions were large and the food was great.

Amazing food and staff. Low prices and such a comfortable atmosphere. The best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had in my life and for high protein gym friends there chicken salad and cottage cheese.

The food was Excellent, and even though the diner was completely filled we didn’t have to wait long to be Seated and Served. Our waitress was welcoming and polite even though she must’ve been busy. She checked on us often and it didn’t take nearly as long as I had assumed it would for us to get our food. We were all happy with our meals. It’s a great spot to take older folks to with it’s homey atmosphere and comfort food that’s well made. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!
