All I can say is OH MY GAWD!!!! From the moment we walked into this beautiful restaurant we felt like family!! We were greeted by a pretty young girl named Summer with the best smile & attitude & Steve, the owner, whose personality was fun & familiar. Summer seated us at the BEST table in the house, well out of the house, on the patio by the waterfall. Our server Warner quickly & warmly greeted us. He answer our many questions & both he & Summer made excellent recommendations. We went with the wedge salad, meatball with ricotta for starters & Rigatoni alla vodka w/chicken, cheese Ravioli & chicken parmesan… the starters including the bread with specialty butter were INCREDIBLE… I know some of you say, a salad is a salad but there was something magical about their wedge salad… it was so fresh, cold, extra crispy, the dressing was creamy & the balsamic glaze drizzle sent it over the top! If judging an Italian restaurant by their meatballs is your thing their 10 out 10 meatballs were given a chefs kiss but all 3 of us!! We had just a few minutes to run into their Italian Market before our dinners arrived. Dear God, let heaven be like this market. Every flavor biscotti, Italian & tradition cookies, Italian pastries & coffees as well as every pasta, olive & import you could ever want was in this market. Steve the owner saw us in the market & let us know our dinners arrived!! He literally had us cut through the kitchen to get back to the restaurant side. The kitchen was immaculate & all of the staff was friendly & laughing as we shuffled through. I accidentally grazed a man named Mario who was working… and as I apologize profusely he was such a good sport…. the dinners were spectacular the alla vodka sauce was outstanding & the perfect pairing with the cheese Ravioli to take it up a few notches & the chicken was definitely in the top 3 of our countless chicken parmesan experiences!!! My only disappointment is I don’t live in Florida so I cant come here everyday! But walking in this door is like coming home♡

My Mom and I enjoyed a lovely lunch! Our server is Mun & she walked us through the menu and gave us amazing recommendations. My mom ordered their seafood salad. It was fresh with lots of seafood on it and I had one of the pasta dishes with blackened shrimp. I also had a side of their homemade mozzarella and we enjoyed. We enjoyed a reasonably priced upscale Chardonnay from the Russian River. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable. Chef Gabby came out to ask us how everything was and of course we gave her the thumbs up. Highly recommend & coming back Saturday night!!!!

Excellent lunch in the restaurant. The chicken parm sandwich was served in an excellent baguette, as was my wife’s meatball sandwich. We both had the chopped iceberg salad as a side, which we really enjoyed. I asked for an affogato, which was not on the dessert menu, but they made me what I’d call an “affogato plus” which came with a biscotti and good sized scoop of gelato. Very nicely done. (I had already started eating when I took the photo).

Being new in the area I did a google search and decided on exploring the Promenade at Bonita Bay. DeRomo’s Restaurant was my first stop. The rave reviews lived up to the expectations Sergio served me on the patio. He was warm, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, with good sized portions and did not disappoint. I enjoyed the meatball sandwich with loads of mozzarella and a Caesar Salad. To complete my meal I was treated to a mouth-watering authentic cannoli. The atmosphere of the Promenade complete with waterfalls and ponds is very relaxing. Following my meal I strolled looking in the shops. DeRomo’s Gourmet Market was very impressive and definitely a place I will revisit and consider when needing a gift card or gift basket. I understand there are Happy Hours, Live Music and an outdoor Market to also check out. I highly recommend you add it to your list!

We had a fantastic dinner at DeRomo’s last week. For appetizers, we had the bruschetta and beef carpaccio (which was huge) – both were delicious. For main courses, we had the pasta alfredo with chicken, past with veal, shrimp and scallops and the crab cakes – all three were excellent, properly cooked and very tasty. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was one of the best we’ve ever had. We sat outside, which was very pleasant. Service was exceptional and our server was attentive and easy to find when needed. Even though the restaurant is huge and was full, we did not have to wait a long time for our food, which was impressive. They must have a large and well-staffed kitchen. Overall, a really wonderful dinner experience all around. We will certainly be back for more!

After returning home I realized Abderrazak had added 20% onto our table of 7 without telling me. It was listed on the check as “other”. Their policy is for tables of 8.
I called the restaurant and spoke to Michael the manager. He will be refunding me the difference of what the overage was plus $10 for the inconvenience and said he would discuss this with the employee.
I let him know that this was not good business practices and reflects poorly on the restaurant.

We celebrated our mother’s 95th birthday at DeRomo’s. Everything was superb. The food and service was above and beyond our expectations. Our guests were all impressed.
