Super cute little coffee place!

Stopped in to warm up and got some mint tea, a caramel latte, carrot cake, and a cheese danish. The cake and danish were very tasty. The coffee was good, though not as sweet as we are used to.

We are always on the hunt for Somali owned coffee shops and this is one you have to visit! The best part? This place is absolutely cute. It’s so inviting and the workers were really nice to us. We ordered Somali tea, mango juice, sambusas and treats. Everything was good and many of us agreed it’s probably some of the best Somali beef sambusas that we’ve had. The worst part? It’s an easy place to miss when you’re driving but please visit if you can! Only street parking available that we noticed.

Very nice person working in thereand we were excited to like this spot but with only one order ahead of us it took 25 min to get our food.

The main complaint is that the wait, it seems good to note that the Avocado Toast was not even toasted.

The rest of our order was also generally underwhelming.

I don’t know if I would do it again even though we hoped to like this place.

Dero Coffee Shop is such a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the kindest and most welcoming staff who make the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service always feels genuine and friendly.

Their food is amazing — not only does everything taste incredible, but it’s also beautifully presented and super aesthetic, perfect if you love taking pictures of your meals. You can tell they put a lot of effort into both quality and presentation.

The coffee is smooth, flavorful, and always hits the spot. And their cheese danish is seriously so good — fresh, soft, and full of flavor. It’s definitely something you have to try.

If you want great coffee, delicious food, and wonderful customer service, Dero Coffee Shop is the place to go!

Dero coffee shop is a quaint treasure right here in our local neighborhood in Central NE. It is aesthetically pleasing and the drinks are of high quality.

When you enter, it has a nice atmosphere with inviting decor. It is a nice spot to study and grab some good coffee. They also have a wide selection of other menu items.

I got a biscoff tres leches cake and it was 10/10. The other members of my party got a mango lemonade which was pretty sweet and refreshing and Somali coffee which hit the spot just right.

I enjoyed my experience here at Dero and recommend everyone to stop by. The owners are two Somali parents who were warm and lovely to chat with.

Parking is on the street and they have a parking lot as well. I hope you enjoy your time here as I have.

Such a cozy and welcoming spot! The place has a homey feel, and the prices are super affordable. I got a delicious Somali coffee and a samosa for under $7. The staff is really kind, and it’s a great place to meet up with friends or get some work done in a laid-back setting. They have delicious Somali pastries along with great drinks. Definitely worth a visit!

Love this place for several reasons. They stay open until 11:30pm nightly, reasonable prices, the owners are extremely nice and accommodating, the food and drinks are good. The Somali coffee has ginger, cinnamon, and sweetened cream in it. It’s a must try and my favorite. A very close second is the Spanish latte. The sambusa has a soft like a pastry with a delicious combo of spiced minced meat and onion inside. I prefer it over samosa (Indian version). The fried potato egg ball thing (name?) was a pleasant surprise. It’s basically like eating mashed potatoes around a hard boiled egg. The house hot sauce drizzled over it complimented it well (optional). The mango smoothie was creamy and yummy. I wasn’t a fan often strawberry matcha though. Either too much matcha powder was used or it wasn’t blended well because it was thick and pasty. I also could not taste the strawberry and it was not sweet enough for me. The pumpkin roll and milk cakes are super good. The owner always personally greets me and they bring your order to your table. It feels cozy and welcoming there. My only concern is that the toilet does not work probably. You have to hold the handle down but when you do it floods the bowl. If you use it I recommend not going #2 and limiting your toilet paper use. Update: WiFi issue fixed. Please give them a try!
