I ordered off of uber eats today trying their food for the first time and the chicken biryani was delicious. I moved from the UK to the US 9 months ago and this dish tasted exactly like how my mom used to make it . A very home sick feeling cured by a yummy plate of biryani

Limited options in this price point. No drinks even glass of water with the buffet. Food taste was ok . Going back ? Not sure. There is lots of chance to improve. I hope they make some changes snd get more guest. Counter person was very nice.

I used to visit here a lot when they newly opened for the weekend buffet and to dine in on weekdays. I stopped eating here when they started preparing the food in the morning or afternoon and reheating it when ordered. Additionally, the ratings on this restaurant went down, too, so I didn’t think about dining here again.
But everyone has their own taste, and I’m glad I visited Dera again.
But I realized yesterday that them preparing the food in advance is not a bad thing! I had previously ordered the Chicken 65, Goat Masala, Palak Paneer, Chicken Biryani & Naan. All were tasty, but the Chicken 65 was soggy because it wasn’t fresh that day.
Yesterday, I ordered the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Samosa, and Naan. The food came out quickly and was hot. I enjoyed the Biryani here more than other places because the Masala (flavor) was saturated in the rice, and the rice itself was warm and melted in my mouth. The Chicken Tikka Masala had thicker cut boneless chicken and did get a little dry, but you can simply add the gravy to it to add flavor and moisture. The Naan was made fresh to order. and they added butter to it without asking. It was so soft and Fluffy that I couldn’t stop eating it. The chicken Samosas not only had chicken, but some potato in it too. It was a big, heavy samosa. And I couldn’t finish it all.
Overall, the service was great, and the lady at their front was taking care of everything herself. From answering phones, taking orders, and serving guests, I commend her for that. When we were paying, she even offered us to sample the Gajar Halwa and Kheer (so good!), but we were stuffed and couldn’t order it.
It was very refreshing coming here after such a long time and receiving good service and delicious food! InShaAllah, I’ll be back again!

One of the best options around for a decent Indian/Pakistani cuisine at a fair price. Barochi and Karachi Dhaba curries are actually pretty good, and in fact deserve solid 5 Stars. Rest of the menu options are average or above average

Bottled water is extra charge $1.50 and not included in Buffet ($12)

Variety of food is good, plenty of parking, tea is extra $2 and not bad at all.

Toilets are dirty with garbage overflowing, condensation water leaking from the AC air vent in dining room.

Overall gets the job done on budget ✅

Food was horrible, the Bhindi was rotten and it was disgusting. Kebabs were undercooked and is chewy. Chana also had a bad smell and tasted like nothing. Do not recommend.

All you can eat Indian lunch buffet for $10! Samosas and naan to your heart’s content! People say the staff are unresponsive. There is no staff it’s self serve. You grab drinks on the left, eat on the right and then pay as you leave. You buy takeout at the counter. NO WAITERS MEANS NO TIPS to pay. Cheap delicious get there asap if you love Indian food. This is an affordable oasis among a sea of overpriced Indian restaurants. Most places charge $5 for two small samosas. The samosas here are huge and not hollow and full of air like many cheap places. Get here yesterday and prepare for eating , nay, Feasting for only $10 at lunchtime.
