Delicious Thai food! I got the pad see ew and the portion was very generous and it was delicious. My boyfriend is gluten free and got the curry and it was good! The rice was a bit small portion and extra was $3.50 which is a bit much so we didn’t get it. The service was great and you didn’t need a reservation can just walk in.

We tried this Thai restaurant for lunch today and found the experience to be great.
It’s easy to find a table around 12 noon. And, tables and area is clean.
The seating area feels cosy and has comfortable chairs.
The staff is attentive and super quick. Also, ensures there’s always water topped in the glass.
We placed the order and before the meals they seved the complementary salad, which tasted just perfect. No complaints.
The food was also perfect, we ordered veg and non veg options.
What deserves a special mention?
The attendants are super attentive, always know what you would ask for.
What could be better?
Nothing, they are doing the right thing.

Nice little Thai joint with simple decor but friendly service. We weren’t too hungry so only ordered two items to share but everything was very fresh and tasty, and the portions were generous

Would’ve ranked it higher because the food actually tasted good but I came here with friends and two of the dishes had hairs in them. While we didn’t complain that’s gross .
I didn’t finish my rice and curry so asked for a to-go container and our server was so annoyed, which doesn’t seem like an unreasonable request. She took them and dumped both into the same container and gave it back to me. Shouldn’t they be packed separately since they are served separately? I didn’t want to eat that much rice but okay… They were too cheap to spare an extra container.

If you’re in Hell’s Kitchen/Midtown and looking for a great lunch spot, you have to check out Der Leung. Their lunch special is a steal, and the red curry is hands down the best I’ve had in years. It’s rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. The place has a cozy vibe, and the staff is super friendly. Perfect for a quick, delicious escape in the middle of the day. Don’t miss it!

Their signature Der Krung chicken ($21 plus tax) and the Chicken Panang both could have been spicier. While the entree portions were of decent size, the accompanying bowl of rice was too small.

The best thai restaurant i have been to in the states. i was fortunate enough to go with a friend who is thai and we left all the ordering to him. I am so glad we did because he got items my girlfriend and I never think to get, and he also told us the best way to to pair the items which we would have never considered the quality and portion of the food here was good cannot wait to go back

I always come for their lunch special. Great proportions and for the right price. All together it was no more than 16–17$! One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to!
Only negative feedback is the Atmosphere is a bit awkward since tables are tightly together, it’s a small restaurant and the music is way too low( this woudlnt be an issue if you come with friends) . Just be mindful you can literally hear conversations.

Food was amazing, We had the best pineapple fried rice ever from a thai restaurant. BEWARE the chicken dumplings are small and only 4 dumplimgs are served. Staff was attentive. Went on a weekday late afternoon didn’t have to wait. It’s a small cute place.
