Cool little hotdogs joint, in what resembles an old caboose. Gravel parking lot, with plenty of parking spots. Menus are hung on the exterior of the structure. Order at one window and pickup at the next. It was out first time here, the woman working the order window was super friendly and helpful. I had been craving corn dogs for weeks, got two with fries and a drink. Our other order was a single dog with chili, fries and a drink. All the food was excellent, though a bit on the pricey side. This was $28 and some change. No indoor seating. Some tables sitting on a porch, a couple had umbrellas. It was raining, so we ate in our truck.

I haven’t had a Chicago dog and a polish dog before, but if they all taste like this – I’m sold. My best friend and I stopped here after a long day of walking in Indiana heat. We each got a Chicago dog and split a “Bull dog” and a “Razz do.” Things came out quick, everything was hot and tasted fresh. I was impressed!
My favorite was the razz-do, it burst with flavor. I also enjoyed the hot peppers. The fries tasted just like McDonald’s fries and there was no shortage of them with our meals.
Wonderful experience. The staff was especially friendly and fun to speak with.

Absolutely fantastic! I wish I could give more stars. The service was friendly and fast, and our food was delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection, and the Polish sausages(ordered a Chicago Style and a Mike Ditka- a 1/3 pound one) were the best we’ve had in the area. YUM! We will be back.
*CASH ONLY* They do have an ATM available inside.
*NO RESTROOMS*

Very convenient lunch spot right outside the West Beach entrance of Indiana Dunes National Park. The outside dining that’s dog friendly is a plus. Just be sure to have your dog on leash and sit on the picnic tables on the grass and not the patio. Love the fact that all hot dogs come with fries! This seems to be a common theme in the Chicago area. Not complaining at all because who doesn’t love fries with their meals!

Loved the food. Friendly service as well. We ordered Italian beef, polish dog, chili dogs, and corn dog. The root beer was great too!

OMG! The best hot dogs!
Seriously, don’t snooze on ordering one as they are only open during the summer months. You WILL regret not having one or two of these delicious dogs!
It’s also conveniently located near the beach! Easy access and a great meal for the fam!

Great food and service. It’s fully outside with an awning at the service window and umbrellas over a couple picnic tables in an area prone to precipitation. It’s a cute caboose style. Also, it’s pricey – $28 plus tip and cash-only – for two corn dogs, two fries, two drinks and a single hot dog.

This place is cash only and $7.50 a falsely advertised Vienna Dog.Polish is beef Frank topped with cucumber and diced tomatoes not ketchup or mustard and Vienna dog is something else. Both come with pickled pepper- banana or an awful type – small green and bitter.
Nice grassy picnic area but not bathroom!
You are better off by stopping at Travelers.

The sha-zam polish was excellent! It is extra long, deep fried and you get to choose the toppings…I had mine with grilled onions and mustard! The fries were a little salty but good. Will definitely be back!
