Service was quick and the staff were friendly. This place gives you a nostalgia of yesteryears. Will definitely will visit again for breakfast.
We tried the omelette with cheese along with jackfruit tacos and gluten free chocolate chip pancakes and everything was excellent. I would definitely recommend the chocolate chip pancakes.

Love this cafe for breakfast. It has a lot of seatings and can accommodate small or large group. They have a variety of breakfast menu and special sometimes.
This place is iconic to Frisco. This is the oldest family owned business in Frisco. Staffs are friendly and nice. They have parking spots past the gas station.

One of the best, if not THE best restaurants in Frisco. The food is very good and so is the service. Plus its located in the heart of frisco’s downtown so its a great walkable distance from all those shops.

Prison tier, obviously microwaved, old looking food. Not worth eating. I’m deeply confused by the good reviews. The eggs looked brown, the patties were hard as a rock and tasted worse, the pancakes obviously came from a bag or something. Genuinely seems like prison food, I’m upset I even ate any let alone paid for it

First time finding this hole in the wall place. I didnt know you had to go to counter to order food and one lady gave me attitude like I was stupid. Then when I asked a server for a to go box she replied “theyre right here behind you” like I should have know. Food was excellent though.

We’ve been going to The Depot sporadically for years. The food is always good. Very simple, good portions. However, they nickel & dime for everything. That’s a big turnoff when the subs aren’t significant (i.e. swap toast/biscuits for a pancake).
If it weren’t for the constant upcharging, this would be our regular weekly breakfast spot.
Well choose to go to another local place that doesn’t up charge for everything.

Some friends of ours invited us to the annual Frisco Community parade and said they were going to get there early and have breakfast at The Depot Cafe. Not being in the area very often I didn’t know anything about The Depot Cafe what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is attached to a gas station so it looks underwhelming, but the service and food was great! They have lots of options on the menu and will help you with your order if you find yourself not being able to choose from all the delicious options. We had a large group with adults and children so we split into 3 different tables. The kids ate together and the people bringing out the food did a wonderful job figuring out who the food belonged to, which was definitely not something we expected them to do. My kids ordered the chocolate pancake and French toast which they both really enjoyed. I ordered a breakfast taco that was so good I’m trying to find an excuse to drive back over there and get another one…lol. The taco was as big as my face and I wasn’t even able to finish it. I got the potato, bacon and egg and it was hands down one of the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had. I opted to get both of their sauces and it was absolutely the right choice. Because it was a little chilly outside we also ordered hot chocolate for the kids. We were provided with hot chocolate packets so we mixed it with the right amount of water for each of the girls which was perfect. Some like it with more water, some with less, so the ability to make it to our liking was a definite plus. This place is really great, and I’ve heard their lunch specials are even better than the breakfast, so I absolutely recommend it but encourage you to get there early to beat the rush.

The quintessential American dinner. Quaint and unpretentious restaurant serving good comfort food at a good price.
We tried the Southern fried chicken, fried pork chops and the chicken fried chicken. All of the meats were crispy on the outside and super juicy in the inside. Not too salty with condiments available to adjust to your taste. Despite being deep fried food, our dishes were not oily.
The decor consist of vintage items related to the history of the city. Kids would love to see the collections of mini trains.
Service was very good. You order at the counter, get your drink, condiments and utensils and find a table. Food is brought to you.

Real good fresh from grandma’s kitchen southern cooking. The chicken fried steak was crispy and tender a little under seasoned for my taste but delicious the biscuits were flacky and buttery. All and all I can’t wait to come back.
