I stopped by to grab a quick belated lunch. I got the chicken salad and it was delicious!!

Stopped in first time, found it as a drive by. Was hoping they had a meat and 2 or 3 and did. Went for fried catfish 2 sides and corn bread and ice tea. Greens and cornbread were fantastic! Tea was also great! However the catfish were nuggets or bits and pieces, “not fitten da eat” as momma used to say and the Mac n cheese was not very good either, wasn’t just me saw another gentlemen leave his mac on the plate when he left. The price was the most affordable anywhere, 10 and some change. Waitress was nice but after meal dropped off never saw her again and not for lack of tryin as no refills or a how is it?…..I’ll be back for a grill meal ie burger, fries etc and will rerate then.

I’ve had the Seared Salmon that was done to perfection. The Shrimp and Grits are very good. The baked potatoes are baked exactly the way I like them, tender and moist.

Man oh man, this is what America needs more of!! Can you imagine what it was like going to your grandmothers after church for some good old fashioned, real hearty food? Imagine no more because it is right here. Food was phenomenal. Service was incredibly polite and fast, while also being considerate and forward thinking. I will be back.

Great place to stop if you want something delicious to eat. Customer service is always top notch. The lunch special and sides are southern cooking at its finest. Chicken pie is mine and my husband favorite. Also you absolutely can’t go wrong with anything from the grill! They have great chilli as well.

First time visit today on a Sunday for lunch. I had meatloaf, sweet potato casserole, baked apples with roll. Reasonably priced I thought with nice portions! It was very busy and seemed to be well staffed. Not a long wait for our food. I would go back again!

Observed cashier checking receipts and licking her fingers repeatedly to sort them out. She also was putting silverware in the individual envelopes. While counting cash again repeatedly licking her fingers. Angus beef hamburger steak was over done, and came with one side, only.
Cheeseburger was overdone also. Drove quite a ways to get here. Will not be back.
