I have found a new favorite burger joint in Montgomery County. The last time I had a burger and fried cheese curds this good, I was at the Old Fashioned restaurant on the Capitol Square in Madison, Wisconsin, for quite a bit more money. I have always loved little hole-in-the-wall restaurants, because they have to be better than the chain restaurants to survive. The Depot lives up to that standard, and then some. Will definitely return!

Service is awesome. Bacon Cheeseburger is fantastic and so is the pot roast sandwich. The super cold Stag beers are a plus.. and the pricing is really fair!

My husband & I each had a cheeseburger & we split an order of portobello mushrooms. Everything was awesome! My lemonade was even really good! I’ve lived 20 minutes away for over 20 years & can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this place! We’ll definitely be back!

Very kind lady served us, fried pickles tasted amazing, and the ghost pepper cheese was delicious. If you like slightly spicy go with that cheese, it’s not super spicy but similar to a raw jalapeño. Spent less than 20 on to people with appetizer
