I went in with high hopes, but as let down. Food wasn’t good to me or my wife. I had doubts when I walked in and smelled no smoke coming from what was supposed to be a smokehouse. The brisket had no smoke ring so and neither it or the rib tips had smoke flavor. It did have a burnt flavor that wasn’t good. The meat wasn’t seasoned well at all. The meat was pretty flavorless besides the BBQ sauce that was on it, which was pretty good. The baked beans were the best part of our meal. The Mac and cheese was ok. Strongly doubt we’ll be going back. The lady at the register was extremely friendly and pleasant though. That’s a plus.

NW Indiana’s best BBQ. Deon is an amazing person with the best BBQ in the area. Follow the smoke. My favorite the half slab with mac n cheese and corn. But don’t forget about the brisket and try the rib tips and cornbread. Always happy to support a small business and when the food is amazing that makes it 10x better.

i brought food home and it barely made it 5 minutes before it was gone. The food is delicious. the brisket falls apart right in your mouth and the sides are so amazing! I highly recommend for all and any occasions.

I wanted to try this restaurant for a while so I visted today around 1130 am as stated they open at 11 am on Facebook. But they was closed and didn’t open till 12pm when I called so I waited. I got 2 dinner a rib tip and brisket both with a side of mac and cheese. I bbq all the time and know good bbq. And this food was not fresh at all seem like it was days old and they just threw it in the microwave. The rib tips had no smoke ring or smoke flavor at all no char mark look like they cooked it in the oven honestly. And the brisket looked like crumbs left over from a previous brisket cut up which was extremely dry and hard no smoke flavor I felt kinda taken advantage of with this food cause who ever packed that brisket know they shouldn’t have serve it. The Mac and cheese was good not great. Ended up throwing everything away except the mac and cheese. The young lady up front was extremely nice and welcoming tho that the only reason I don’t feel bad tipping.

Highly disappointed. I ordered ribtips and brisket. After I paid, I was informed there was no ribtips(2pm), so I swaped for the chicken which was ok. Once I got home, I opened the brisket and 80% of it was burned, charcoal colored. I mean I like my food crispy, but not like this. The burnt flavor was overwhelming. I am disappointed because we have been fans since the beginning and drove all the way from Hammond.

Deon has the gift of smoking bbq! I’ve had several dishes from his fine food truck! My favorite is the brisket! Every bite is amazing. The Mac n cheese is the bomb! I love the burgers, links and ribs too! Alright just get there and try it! You won’t be disappointed. Their store front is super clean and inviting. Thanks for the smokin delicious meal Deon! Stopped in and grabbed lunch on the way home from work, and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing! Staff was super friendly and helpful seeing it was my first time there. I ended up getting the two meats and two sides and it was absolutely delicious, I got the rib tips, pulled pork, Mac& cheese and green beans. Portions are huge and very filling. I will definitely be back again soon
