The broths at this place are so good! I had the tom yum broth and was blown away by how delicious it was. My friends got the vegetable, seafood, pho, and the house broths and they too all loved their broths. The meats were delicious and fresh. There was a good amount of hotpot selection. The only downside to this place is the lack of staff. There were only 2 servers and 1 busser. They were slammed as it was Friday night but did their best to get you what you need. I recommend ordering your refill all at once instead of asking for 1-2 item at a time. We did big initial order and a 2nd round of refill and that was enough for the night. We all enjoyed our night so much! We left the staff a butterfly gift.

I had such a great experience at this hotpot restaurant! The ingredients were super fresh, the broths were flavorful, and the service was fast and friendly. The staff checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The vibe was cozy and perfect for a chilly Colorado day. Definitely one of my new favorite spots — I’ll be coming back for sure!

By far, my favorite restaurant for hot pot in Denver. The food is always fresh and served right away. All the options at the sauce and topping bar are fresh and can’t forget the broth. Staff members are always polite and friendly. Shout out to Qyin, Deo and Vee for always taking care of me every time I show up.

This was my first time experiencing Denver and I heard about Denver Hotpot, so I went to try it. Everything exceeded my expectations compared to other restaurants I’ve been to. They had a wide variety of sauces to choose from. I went early in the morning, so everything was clean and beautifully presented, like a picture. I highly recommend this restaurant and will recommend it to my family and friends when they visit Denver.

This place was beyond amazing! The food was delicious, meat was well marbled and tasty, fresh veggies, and my fiance devoured his BBQ

But the real reason to come here is the service. There was a big misunderstanding tonight that was absolutely nobody’s fault but my own, and when Danny saw how upset I was about it all he instantly fixed the situation. They cleared things up for me and truly went above and beyond for me when I didn’t deserve it.
The food is amazing
The people are even better.
Come give it a try, you won’t regret it

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Sunday, and I must say, my experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was of exceptional, and the staff was attentive. We were seated promptly, but I highly recommend making reservations, otherwise you could be waiting a long time. I’ll definitely be back to try the BBQ next time!

Delicious Vietnamese-style hot pot. Choose your broth and it comes in a smaller, personal pot. Choose your noodles, meats and vegetables. We chose the bone pho and the Denver broth. Both flavorful and seemed to be prepared the traditional way (with herbs, peppers and even a whole date for mild sweetness. Wide variety of meats and seafood, as well as vegetables. Great value for the price. Bring your appetite.

First time trying this self-service restaurant.
• Oysters were slimy and dirty.
• Meat seemed to have been frozen for too long, it smelled bad.
• Udon had a piece of plastic string in it.
• Udon and rice cakes tasted sour and off.
• Young staff with tattoos, earrings, and no glasses had a disrespectful attitude, rolling eyes at customers.
• Vegetables were fresh, but everything else was really bad.
• Not worth the experience.

On the positive side, the chubby guy with glasses and a watch was nice and polite.

But the constant staring from staff made us so uncomfortable that we couldn’t even enjoy our meal

I even had to buy a laxative right after the m

The food was fresh and delicious, the soup was flavorful, and the service was incredibly enthusiastic. Even though the restaurant was crowded, the staff didn’t miss a single detail. The worst part was that my friend tipped too little.

Visited Denver Hot Pot & BBQ at 2200 W Alameda Ave #38, Denver, CO, and it was a fantastic all-you-can-eat experience! The food is outstanding, with fresh, high-quality meats like beef, pork, and lamb, plus seafood options like shrimp and squid. The hot pot broths are made daily, and the spicy one was a perfect mix of heat and flavor. The vegetable selection—leafy greens, mushrooms, tofu—was fresh and plentiful, and the DIY sauce bar let me customize every bite (loved the sesame and chili options). The Korean BBQ was solid, though I wanted more char on the meats.
Service was top-notch—staff were friendly, quick, and great at explaining the process, keeping the table clear even during a busy evening. The variety of meats and veggies is impressive, with vegan options too, though I noticed bulgogi was missing from the menu that day. Parking is easy in their lot, and the location is convenient, though better signage on Alameda would help first-timers.
Areas to improve: The parchment paper on the BBQ grill prevents that crispy char—direct grilling would be better. The sauce bar is awesome but overwhelming; a guide for newbies would be nice. Clearer menu labeling for specialty items would also help.
Overall, a super fun, flavorful spot for groups or casual dinners. Highly recommend for hot pot and BBQ fans—make a reservation for busy nights! I’ll be back!
