DeNucci’s draws inspiration from the beloved Italian-American red sauce restaurants. Our dining room features an inviting ambiance, classic Italian charm, and a fresh appeal. Guests can savor traditional dishes such as Artichoke Vesuvio, Mozzarella al Forno, and Veal Marsala. A Ballyhoo Hospitality restaurant, DeNucci’s is open daily in Lincoln Park and Highland Park with our Hinsdale location opening late summer of 2025.

My first time here and it jumped into my top 5 all time favorite Chicago restaurants. Wow, the service just goes above and beyond. It was my girlfriends birthday and they had custom menus made just for her, and 3 different employees (host, server, manager) all wished her happy birthday in the first 5 minutes we were there.. they also gave us complimentary prosecco.. great start.. grilled octopus appetizer and warm garlic knots to start: excellent… lumache alla vodka with crumbled sausage and chicken Parmesan and spaghetti all flavorful and delicious.. espresso martinis capped off our perfect dinner.. this is a tough reservation to get, we were lucky to get a 5:15pm on a friday and the place was packed.. well deserved.. will definitely be back!

I got a handmade pasta which tasted amazing. Got meatballs on the side, such a great treat. The chicken sandwich was good. The calamari was perfectly seasoned and crisp.
Service time was a bit longer but overall good service.

During my frequent visits to the city, I’ve often struggled to find a place that excels in both food quality and customer service. This restaurant exceeded my expectations on both fronts. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and warm. The staff—servers, hostesses, and managers—genuinely care about your dining experience, which is evident in their attentive service. My meal arrived promptly, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The entire team was incredibly helpful, ensuring that I felt welcomed and valued throughout my visit. From the moment you walk in to the moment we walked out it was one of the best experiences as a family we have had. The staff are so welcoming and we are impress with their hospitality. Our server Nathan was very accommodating, patient, & answer any questions we had. The garlic knots & pizza is worth getting ! Chicken Marsala very delicious. Tiramisu wow out of this world! Thank you to the management and Wesam for the warm welcome & for making my brother birthday a memorable one. Definitely go and enjoy this lovely establishment.

Beautiful atmosphere and a wonderful communicative staff. Helped explain menu items so well for me, especially our server Tom. Each dish came out hot, fast, and gorgeous. Takes me back to very traditional italian dining. Do NOT miss out on the tiramisu, we got ours to go but it was done before we got to our front door. The pistachio brownie was amazing as well, have not had gelato that good in awhile. I recommend getting the sausage and peppers to eat on top or alongside your pizza it was awesome. (Monday they have tavern style pizza available that is what is pictured) The sauce is on the sweeter side but was well rounded for me with the additional dishes. Artichoke appetizer is to die for, I will be back for that alone and to try so much more of the menu.

Visited Chicago over the weekend and this place came highly recommended. I really wanted to try the rigatoni, which was no longer in the menu. Disappointing. However, what was not disappointing was that spicy pepperoni pizza. Probably top 3 pizza I’ve ever had! We also added caramelized onions for a little razzle dazzle. The sangria was yummy as well. The service was great. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. And I loved the design and decor in this place. Very clean and not terribly loud. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal.

My partner and I came here for our anniversary, and while sadly the booths were taken, we were sat in a candle-lit private room (to both our surprise) and were treated to complimentary prosecco.
Both of our dishes were incredible and our drinks were fantastic – shoutout to Levi for the incredible suggestions!

Ordered takeout and was underwhelmed for the price.
The pasta alla vodka was okay… a decent portion, but noticeably spicy, which wasn’t mentioned. Fine overall, but not something I’d order again at this price point.
The salad was the bigger issue. $11 for what appeared to be mostly iceberg lettuce with basic add-ins and no real preparation or value added didn’t feel acceptable.
Service was efficient, and the space itself is lovely, this may be a better dine-in experience. For takeout, though, the food didn’t justify the cost.

Was visiting Chicago from NYC last weekend & came in specifically for this one dish I was eyeing online, only for it to be sold out! I was pretty sad about it, as it had been a very hard day for me just one thing after another and my emotions finally took over. The manager came over to tell me that they were going to be able to make me the dish, and they also gave us cannoli’s on the house. Thank you for going above and beyond & truly impacting my day in a positive way when everything else was going wrong. Everything was 10/10.. especially my pasta dish (cavatelli ragu)! Thank you so much ❤️

The food was incredible, especially the mozzarella sticks and garlic knots. The Italian lemonade with vodka was also delicious. The pasta and pizza didn’t disappoint either. The entire staff was very attentive & friendly. Our waiter did up-charge us for two ingredients without telling us when we clearly asked for a substitution for two ingredients we didn’t want, other than that he was friendly & attentive. We still tipped 20% considering how amazing the entire staff treated us. When visiting Chicago we would definitely come back again.
