Ballyhoo Hospitality is bringing its beloved Italian concept, DeNucci’s, to the wonderful community of Highland Park. Opening its first location in Lincoln Park, DeNucci’s pays homage to the Italian-American culinary tradition, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. Our menu features classic dishes such as Hand-pulled Mozzarella, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and Veal Marsala. We also offer New York-influenced pizza using a beloved recipe by Salvatore “Sal” Lo Cascio. Our Speciale del Giorno showcases nightly specials reminiscent of Nonna’s cooking.

We recently had dinner at Denucci’s, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was consistently good, with a few standout dishes that really impressed us.
We started with the Little Gem Caesar, which ended up being the surprise favorite of the night, fresh, flavorful, and exceptionally well made. The Garlic-Parmesan Knots were warm and comforting, and the Spicy Pepperoni Pizza had a great kick without being overwhelming. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was solid, though not our personal favorite of the meal. For dessert, the Amaretto Tiramisu was delicious and a perfect way to end the night.
For drinks, the Staten Island Iced Tea was a hit, my husband especially enjoyed it.
Service was excellent. Our server, Wesley, was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.
Overall, we left happy and would definitely come back again to try more items on the menu. Denucci’s offers a warm atmosphere, tasty dishes, and great service well worth a visit.

We went to DeNucci’s for my husband’s birthday, and we were impressed with the whole experience. It was already packed at 5:15, but staff did a great job keeping pace to turn tables. Service was excellent and attentive, and the food was all incredible. We especially loved the pizza, and my kiddos enjoyed the buttered noodles and chicken strips. What’s more, everyone acknowledged my husband’s birthday (that I had put in the notes) and brought him gelato to celebrate. We will absolutely be coming back again – everything was fantastic!

Went here tonight with my sister for the first time and had such an amazing experience thanks to Angel! We originally had a different bartender, but once Angel took over, the whole night leveled up. He’s incredibly skilled and such a perfectionist — you can really tell he takes pride in every single drink he makes.
He made an absolutely delicious Baileys coffee and definitely knows what he’s doing behind the bar. Every cocktail was spot on. Not only were the drinks amazing, but he was also personable and made the experience so much more enjoyable.
We’ll definitely be coming back just to see him again. Thank you, Angel, for such a great evening!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely amazing! The spaghetti and meatballs is a must-try. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and our waiter was friendly, patient, and made our experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend!

I am optimistic for this place. I enjoyed my experience here for the most part. There isn’t really any space in the entryway if you check in and the table isn’t ready. Creates quite the bottle neck. I was here with three others. The waiter didn’t come around too often and it took while for us to get to order dinner and get drink refills, but he was friendly. We ordered arancini and the garlic rolls for the apps. The arancini seemed a bit dry and they didn’t provide much sauce to go with it, which would’ve helped it taste less dry. The rolls were good. I had the pomodoro pasta. I thought it didn’t look like it had any sauce just tomatoes when I was stirring it around (very hot at first), but it actually had sauce somewhere and it was very tasty. I’d order that again. My husband got the vodka pasta, he enjoyed it for the most part. The other guest got the special for the day which was a risotto. And they enjoyed it but they said they wouldn’t order it again, it didn’t wow them. I forgot what the last individual had. We also shared a Caesar salad which tasted pretty standard. Overall I enjoyed my experience here. I think the others did too for the most part, next time they’ll probably try something new. In general, if you’re sensitive to garlic, almost everything we ate had thin sliced garlic in it (vodka pasta, the pomodoro pasta). The arancini also tasted like it had garlic but I’m not sure if it was garlic powder or small pieces or if it was mixed in the sauce provided. They also renovated the space and it looks nice! Definitely an upgrade from the previous restaurant. I’m looking forward to eating here in the future, I’ll probably order the pomodoro pasta again because I really liked it. Also the pic provided is not how it was served, the presentation was better, I just mixed it up because it was hot.

Larissa was fantastic! She was super friendly and we instantly had a great connection, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. She made an amazing French Martini…easily one of the best I’ve had. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing behind the bar. I’ll definitely be back!

We were a party of five and were seated in a walkway. The table next to us was placed so close that servers and staff had to squeeze between us every time they passed, repeatedly bumping into my sister’s chair. That’s simply not an acceptable setup for guests trying to enjoy a meal.
We were also seated upstairs, where the acoustics were very poor. The music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other speak across the table. It made conversation difficult and honestly frustrating.
When you’re spending over $300 for dinner, you expect a more comfortable and thoughtfully arranged dining experience.

Went for dinner and you would never know they just opened. Great service, food came out quick (even though it was packed) and every single thing we ordered was delicious! Standouts were the meatballs, garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, tagliatelle and the pizza was soooo good. Best tiramisu I have ever had. This will be our new favorite place in Hinsdale.
