The wait time to be seated was a little longer than we anticipated but the staff did a really great job with checking on the families that were waiting outside and thanked us for our patience. When we finally were seated we were greeted with a friendly face – Gavin. AMAZING SERVICE ! & that’s coming from someone who was once in the industry. He was quick, efficient, hospitable and thorough. He gave great recommendations (Brisket Sandwich and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich) mind you – we only came for appetizers. Our usual here is the buffalo chicken and zesty nachos with avocado and jalapeños but we couldn’t resist. And I’m so glad we didn’t. We finished up the evening with the oven baked caramel apple pie crisp – it’s a warm hug in a dish for those of you who haven’t tried it. Anywho, back to our server – Gavin. The restaurant was busy but he still made it a point to be a little personable with each guest – this is very important to me. Anywho, amazing experience. Btw, love the renovation !!

I love the renovations of the restaurant. But the manager Quintin and server were very pleasant. They made us feel at home and professional in they character. Gavin was our server and he knew his menu, made a great suggestion and was very attentive to our needs. I had the sirloin steak and it was excellent! Thank you for the good experience.

Tasha is so personable, with a warm personality and made us all feel right at home when we dined here! The whole staff was friendly and took care of us, and the food was excellent! We even won some plushies from the machine!

Jesse, our server, was very friendly and attentive! The pumpkin pancakes were delicious. The hostess gave us a 25 minute wait but it ended up being only a 10 minute wait. Great place to eat.

This restaurant goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome from start to finish. The host, servers, and even the employees cleaning the restaurant care about the customers. When you walk in you are greeted warmly with a smile and seated in a timely manner if they are busy or not. I feel so seen and cared for when going to this Denny’s. The servers are so kind, patient, and thoughtful they always check on each guest. I get my meal done exactly the way I want it every time and if it isn’t they make sure to make it right. This is what customer service should be at for every restaurant. I appreciate and value the commitment to making the customer happy no matter what.

We always go to Denny’s. Always been satisfied with their service and food. Our waiter today was totally AWESOME . Over and above all others. There is no comparison . Stopped by Denny’s Kapolei and had an excellent experience! The food was great—fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. Our server, Gavin, was polite, pleasant, and really knew his stuff. He made sure everything came out just right and checked on us often without being overbearing. Service was truly on point from start to finish. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for friendly service and a solid meal.

We had Gavin as our server today!!! And let me tell you he is the epitome of a customer service worker!!! So energetic, very knowledgeable of products offered, his energy is out of this world. I wasnt tryna be difficult but i asked if they had something similar on their menu which they didnt but Gavin went out of his way to customize my burger for me and he didnt have to!! I greatly appreciate that he did go above and beyond when he honestly didnt have to. I would highly recommend coming to dennys kapolei and ask for gavin as your server. He should teach a class for customer service to all people in this field of work!!!!
