Dennys what the hell is this. Burnt ahh pancakes I ate what I did cuz I was friggin starving. The coffee cold brew drink wasn’t good either. I deadahh asked the waitress if it was good and he said yeah. Lil bro set me up for failure fr. Everything else was good. Breakfast sides? Bomb. Cookie al amode? Bomb. Service was also good. Just the pancakes and coffee drink.

The server, Leana, was sweet. Guy at the till was unfriendly and unprofessional. We felt like he did not want us there. My 4 eggs were not even 2. The $2+ I paid for extra cheese was sparse. The first ultimate omelette brought to my wife had no meat at all. Guy at the till did not give us $10 off for staying at the hotel. We were miles down the road when we realized that. Very, very disappointing.

Disappointing Experience – Not Family-Friendly, Poor Service, and Low-Quality Food
Unfortunately, our visit here was a complete letdown. First, the environment is unpleasant right from the start, strong smoke fills the air due to the casino connection. Definitely not ideal for children, or for anyone with asthma or sensitivity to smoke. We were ready to leave, but we were exhausted and hoping to relax with a decent meal. That didn’t happen.
From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed disengaged and uninterested. No greeting, no warmth. We were barely acknowledged before being wordlessly led to a table, where menus were dropped and the server walked off without saying a word. They weren’t busy. 2 tables were served and 3 waitresses were running around the floor, but I’m not entirely sure what they were doing because one table near us, was waiting for refills and then later boxes and later the check.
When our waitress arrived, her attitude felt cold and irritated. She never offered refills, and our meals came out at very different times. I ordered a Cobb salad, but what I received looked like a basic house salad, limp lettuce, a few tomatoes, cheese, and croutons. After mentioning it, they brought out a small plate with browning avocado slices, one hard-boiled egg, and some bacon bits. Even after adding that, the salad was still the size and quality of a basic side salad, definitely not worth the price.
To make matters worse, my iced tea had visible white residue stuck to the inside of the glass. I didn’t notice until I was nearly finished, and by then I’d lost all confidence in the cleanliness of the place. I chose not to complain further, I didn’t feel safe doing so based on how things were already going.
My kids were excited for their food, but neither finished their meals, which is very unlike them. When your kids, who usually eat everything, push the food aside, you know something’s off.
We paid over $70 for a meal we barely touched, walked outside into the shared parking lot… and passed someone openly smoking meth on the sidewalk. That was the final nail.
This is not a safe, welcoming, or quality place for families. The food, service, and atmosphere were all disappointing. There’s nothing worse than being treated poorly, served low-quality food, and still having to pay a hefty bill and leave a tip. We won’t be back.

I truly am uploading after many visits here . I wanted to give it one more try but no matter the day no matter the staff It’s always the same. Upon arrival particularly the women they don’t greet and you will be left standing there feeling as if you’re not actually wanted. The waitresses come at the beginning take the order , drop the food and leave the table the way it’s looks in the pictures .
I’ve never come here and felt the way I’ve felt at other location similar or other Dennys . It’s truly sad because Ely in general is pretty limited in terms of breakfast and family morning diners but I write this because it will happen, and it can throw anyone off . I also write it so that management and ownership can and with hopes these are protocols that can be undone

So I had this sweet little girl named Hanna who was our waitress. After seating my family and myself she asked if we would like and drinks. After giving us a few minutes to decide what we would like to eat promptly put in our order. She came and checked on us while we were waiting food and even after it was served up to us.

This Dennys is tucked away inside the hotel casino. It was a typical Dennys restaurant. The waitress was very nice but we ran out of coffee a few times and had to go get our own but we didn’t really care. Food was good and so was the coffee.

The waitress was nice but the smoke smell from the casino was pretty annoying while we were trying to eat. I had a burger with seasoned fries and the fries were completely burnt to a crisp. There was zero moisture left in them and they were just crispy shells. My wife and son got breakfast food and everything was fine. I would recommend sealing the restaurant off to provide fresh air or get better ventilation and work on the fries.

For what it is, and where it is, I’ll give it 5 stars. It’s Dennys. It’s a gem to have 24/7 in this town. Both times I went, service was good and fast, everything on my plate was tasty, and I left happy and full. If you’re a Hotel Nevada guest, note “free breakfast” only applies to an everyday slam, and anything else you order, you have to pay for.
