Review of Denny’s – Location #8613 (Sayre, OK)
My visit to this Denny’s on December 8, 2025 at around 9:21 AM was extremely disappointing. The person listed on my receipt as the server, Enrique D, stated that he was also the manager. His behavior was completely unacceptable.
He was rude, spoke in a disrespectful tone, and refused to apply a valid promo code from my app. He also declined to honor the AARP discount without providing any explanation. The bill – an omelet, a house salad, a waffle, and water, totaling $34.57 – was straightforward, yet he still refused to apply the eligible discounts.
When the person responsible for both serving and managing shows this level of unprofessionalism, it raises serious concerns about the standards at this location. Such treatment of customers is unacceptable.
I hope corporate management reviews this incident carefully and takes appropriate action to prevent similar situations in the future

We were so happy about the service and quality. Denny’s has been my husband’s favorite dinner for decades and they are still the best for delicious classics. I love seeing new items every time we go. I ordered the bourbon bacon burger. It was perfection. The sauce was so good, I even smothered my seasoned fries in it. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. My husband got a breakfast combo with berry waffles. He ate everything with a smile. He said, denny’s is the only place that gets his eggs right, every time.

Stopped here for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent; food came out hot, bacon not too salty, eggs cooked to perfection ànd the coffee was fresh and delicious! The server, Jason S, was polite, attentive and offered coffee on at least two occasions. On a scale of 1-5, I give the cook and server a 10, blowing the 1-5 scale off the charts! Wonderful experience!

First we stood at the door for 10 minutes to be seated. The server tried to sit us all the way in the back so I requested we get a different booth. She moved us to the only dirty table at the front of the restaurant and we had to wait for someone else to come clean the table. She rushed us with drink order and immediately asked if we were ready to order but we had barely sat down. She took our order and comes back 20 minutes later saying the Mac and cheese I ordered was still frozen and I had to pick something else, so I got the corn to go with the potatoes because I ordered the “finger licking chicken fried chicken”. When she brought the food there was no corn but I started eating anyway. I feed my 6 month old baby the potatoes that came with my food and when I tasted then they tasted like they were made with sour cream! So I tried them again and realized that it wasn’t sour cream but the potatoes were SPOILED! As we’re getting ready to leave another server brings my corn to the table. The manager thought taking the cost of my food off the bill would made me feel better but I have no problem paying for anything I want so the money isn’t my issue. If anything happens to my baby I’m going to sue Dennys until it says Destiny’s

The T-bone that was just delivered to my table. Can anybody tell me the best part of a T-bone and what’s missing here.. I sent him back to question the chef he sent the hostess back out with my plate, she tells me some come out like that I said okay, well don’t worry about it( with contempt) she persists in trying to give me an explanation I said maan don’t worry about it she say well I’m only trying to make you happy. I’m thinking how by telling me it is what it trying to gas light me into believing this was an acceptable cut of meat.

First visit at this location but not to Denny’s. When I’m presented with rolled silverware that’s soiled it kills the moment. I’m not holding it against my server or the owner but whomever is rolling the silverware please don’t send out soiled utensils.
Because I was hungry I wiped my fork off several times and ate once my food arrived. The food was ok but lacked presentation which is of utmost importance. I know for sure DENNY’s have a standard.
The coffee was extremely cold like the machine was going out. I did bring that situation to my server attention. If the feeling isn’t right I don’t do any complaining before my food is served. They have delicious sweet tea.
