When I got home, I was extremely disappointed with the meals. Several advertised items were missing because the restaurant had run out of them, yet no one informed me beforehand or offered substitutions or a price adjustment.
I called the store to address the issue, but the woman who answered was very rude and refused to offer a refund or any solution. I asked to speak with a manager and was told repeatedly—over multiple calls on different days—that no manager was available. The same employee with a raspy voice kept insisting she couldn’t help me.
The lack of professionalism, poor food quality, and refusal to resolve a legitimate issue made this one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. The way this store is managed is unacceptable, especially on a holiday when customers expect better service.
+++ This place claims categorically that it is as an “independently owned and managed” franchise, which is a good thing.
—SUGGESTION TO OWNER::: It would be good for this independent franchise to perhaps create its own breakfast, different from the chain.
BREAKFAST listings are familiar, very American as only we (Americans) can make.
The BREAKFAST SECTION is a tad large but manageable. It’s pictorial.
The Omelettes are quite good. Cooked well, seasoned appropriately. NOT the greasy kind. Large portions
I am not however a fan of the side hash browns and white toast.
There’s the better alternative wheat multigrain toast…Ordered dry but is came buttered….the replacement never arrived.
There’s a fruit bowl but it turns out to be the very high sugar fruits (grapes, melons, pineapple)…REQUESTED berries only, but was told not possible.
Coffee tastes burnt.
Service staff needs to be bit more cheerful rather than long-faced.
The place has a diner vibe, BUT lighted dull/dim despite glass walls on three sides.
Would personally like to specially recognize & thank: (Angel, Lexi, and Kyle) for their Over the Top Service 🙂
Sometimes they’re busy I get it but its a Monday afternoon. I walked in to pickup and the entire restaurant was empty save for a 2 top. Not busy at all. Absolutely no reason to ignore 3 different phone calls trying to place a to go order.
I had a very simple order. One part being hash browns. I ask for them to be crispy, a simple request. Does this look crispy to you? It’s practically raw potatoes!!! I’m so done with this location but sadly there are not many others in the area. Again this is not the first time this has happened, it’s the first time I’m writing a review about all this BS! I love Dennys but can’t deal with how unreliable this location is.
Go on a good day and they answer the phone in a timely manner and get the order correct but go on a bad day…. Beware they give no shits.
had in a long time. Our server, according to the receipt, was Cynthia and when I say she ran circles around
that place, I am not kidding. She seemed to be the only employee on the floor. She was seating people,
waiting on them, cashing them out and at one point cooking in the kitchen. While we sat, waiting on our
food, the tall older black cook was mumbling curse words loud enough for us and the other tables near us
to hear, complaining when he was asked to finish cooking orders and being just plain mean to our server
and the cook that was with him. We watched him and the other cook walk off the line and disappear, but
since we didn’t have our food and another table across from us didn’t either, we weren’t sure what was
happening. Our server ran back and starting cooking like a champ. I ordered a medium well T-bone
breakfast and both the steak and the eggs were perfectly cooked as was my wife’s burger. At no time while
she was cooking did we see another cook back there helping her.
Fast forward to today. My wife had an appointment close by, so we stopped in and had a great
experience again with Cynthia. She remembered my wife’s name, expressed her happiness to see us and
even remembered what we drank on our last visit. The two women cooking today were happy, chatting
away and it was an all around great experience.
I have worked half of my work life in the restaurant industry. I believe restaurants are still paying under
three dollars an hour for servers in our area and that is just not acceptable when a server is required to
hold your restaurant up like a foundation on a house. So, for our server, Cynthia, we give ten stars. Not
just for her service to us, but for the fact that she never faltered, kept on smiling and did every job in your
restaurant like a boss our previous visit and remembered us and treated us so genuinely today. I do hope
that Denny’s appreciates that they have someone who seems to truly love her job and goes above and
beyond.
