When dining in on my lunch break Yana delivered exceptional top notch quality service. Bringing joy and comfort to my dining experience. Even being her last table to serve before ending her shift she still delivered fantastic service. I 100 percent Recommend dining at this location with Yana as your server.

I went here Christmas day and it wasn’t very busy. I ordered a burger and seasoned fries and both were really good.
The wait for my food was acceptable as was being seated. My waitress was very pleasant and professional. My only complaints are I set my empty drink at the edge of the table and it took a long time for her to notice and by the time she did notice I was finished with my meal.
She told me I could take my time and relax and was going to do Just that but I had to use the restroom and when I came back to my table my drink was gone and the table was cleared. I wanted to finish my drink and just relax a minute.
Other than that I would have rated the service higher.
The reason for the 3 star for the atmosphere isn’t my rating for the dining area, it appeared very clean and satisfactory. Prices have gone up quite a bit also, but the same goes for everywhere these days which does suck!
Now the bathroom on the other hand i would rate it 1 star. It is destroyed, old and a mess. Disgusting id better word for it.

Came in for a quick bite with my husband. The food was delicious, by far one of the best Denny’s I’ve been to. This location seemed much nicer and cleaner than others I’ve been to in the past. Robert was fantastic. A++ service! He took great care of us, and his recommendations were on point. Ask for Robert the next time you’re in, he’ll take good care of you!

I went to this Dennys for my Dennys Birthday breakfast (on 02/20/2026 @9:40am). There was a young hispanic bus boy who was very polite and kind. He seated me and asked me of I’d like anything to drink. I let the bus boy know what I wanted to drink and I also asked him about the birthday menu. He asked the one and only waitress who was in the facility and she let him know which meal was for birthday people. The waitress (white, thin build, with blondish/brownish hair) was not friendly at all. I was alone at this restaurant, and thought that I would probably get served quickly. However, I had to wait for 25 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge me OR to even look at me. There were a few families there, and she was by herself, but she acknowledged different people at different tables , and never said a word to me. To be sitting, waiting for 20-25 mins while the waitress walks by your table constantly and never speaks OR looks at you is very disheartening. She walked by my booth multiple times and didn’t say anything to me. And even if she was busy, she could have said “I’ll be right with you” OR “how are you today? I will be right with you.” But she did not even look at me nor did she speak to me. The busboy brought me water and was again very kind. The waitress was friendly with the other people at the other tables but she seemed to be avoiding my booth. When she finally came over (20-25 minutes later), her tone of voice was not friendly. She asked me what I wanted to order and before I finish part of my sentence, she cut me off and asked how I wanted my eggs! When I finished my order, she scooped up the menu’s and walked away. She treated me in a way as if I was bothering her.
I did notice that she was serving a lot of customers BY HERSELF, (approx 20 others) and I thought maybe she was just having a bad morning. I did let her know that I seen that she was by herself serving, but that she was doing a great job (though I still felt bad about her customer service. Especially being that it was my first time visiting and sitting this Dennys).
I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and even though I was there to get a birthday breakfast, I ended up leaving a medium tip for her and the busboy.
At the end of the day, I’m not sure if she was going through something personally, if she was frustrated because she was the only waitress, OR if that’s just her disposition, but I do want to say that she probably needed more help serving all of those people. Hopefully, there will be more waiters/waitresses hired to help (I know it’s a hard job and maybe not many applicants apply)

This place is sort of a hidden gem. Auburn and Watt not the best of places one who knows not would assume but of all the Sacramento Denny’s this one is our very favorite. Yana was an A++. Representing what customer service used to be. Attentive, customer oriented and knowledgeable about her Dennys menu this lady ROCKED IT. Not to mention friendly to the perfect degree. No fake smiles here with her. Just super cool laid back, top notch service. If you love or even like Denny’s with good service this is your joint. Sacs best Dennys by quite alot.

Came in the other day for the birthday slam, could not have been more impressed with the service and quality of food. Robert recommended some biscuits and gravy and an orange juice to go with it. Ended up getting a slice of cheese cake at the end. Nice atmosphere too, friendly staff. If you’re ever passing by definitely a place to stop

Five stars for our server, Mackayla! She was an overall amazing server and we will be coming back to this specific Denny’s just for her service. She was so sweet and had an amazing bubbly positive attitude the entire time. She knew the menu inside and out and made wonderful recommendations. She came to check on us multiple times and was very engaging. Overall great experience.
