I recently had a fantastic experience at Denny’s! The food was great, but what really made my visit special was the incredible service from Amelia. She was so nice and attentive throughout my meal, making sure everything was perfect. Amelia definitely deserves a shout-out for her wonderful customer service!

I took my son and we enjoyed it. Just like old times. The waitress was attentive. I must say, refreshing that the food was delicious . Nice and friendly atmosphere. I did miss the extra shake ( the little left over ) that use to come with the shakes.

I wanted to give it a try, even though I saw the reviews. We’re coming from LA. So yes, we thought all Dennys are the same . Wrong !food tastes different. I Choose An all America’s slam cheese isn’t melted. The hash Brown is way too salty. Mother-in-law got some creeps way different from the picture. No whip cream. They put extra syrup. All around. Creeps were so soggy. Daughter found a hair on the pancakes, she pulled it out of her mouth ↕️ my daughter wasn’t picky about it, but if it was me, I would’ve been throwing up.

The Atmosphere was not welcoming at all. I arrived with my parents (one in a wheelchair) we were looked at, but not acknowledged. We were ignored. Finally after what appeared to be a debate over who would seat us. We were seated. Our waitress was nice. After a 45 minute wait, Finally got our food, which looked great, but can’t say the same for the the taste. Got a to go plate not to take anything to go. Wonder what’s popping at IHOP

I’m being generous giving two stars. I ordered from their promotional menu — the Classic Burger for $8.99 — which I’ve had at other Denny’s locations without any issues and with much better service.
When I asked to add cheese, the server immediately told me there would be an extra charge. I don’t mind paying for cheese, but it caught me off guard since the Denny’s I usually go to on Tuesday nights always includes American cheese at no extra cost. I tried to explain that, but the server became defensive, and I had to clarify that I wasn’t arguing — just pointing out the difference.
He also never asked how I wanted my burger or what I wanted on it. When it came out, it was loaded with all the default toppings I didn’t want. I asked for ranch and got a single small cup, which was fine, but when I got the bill, I noticed I was charged $0.99 for it. At other Denny’s locations, I’ve been given several ranch cups before without being charged.
The inconsistency between locations is frustrating — being told about some charges but not others, depending on who’s working. When I mentioned it to the manager, she brushed it off like I was just complaining, when all I was doing was pointing out that customers deserve to be informed ahead of time about extra charges, no matter how small.
I’ll be sticking with the Denny’s I normally go to, where the staff are consistent, transparent, and much more professional.

I went to Denny’s on Christmas Day with some friends. Unfortunately, we were THOSE people— the jerks who go to eat on Christmas Day. We didn’t realize everything would be closed by midnight (even Winco which is where we intended to go) We thought we had a little more time to get food shopping done, which was pretty dumb of us, but we were hungry and decided to stay, planning to leave a generous tip.
When we arrived, there were only three staff members working: a waitress, a cook, and a hostess. The place was pretty busy, but they were running around like crazy and still remained kind and attentive. Somehow, they managed to get our entire order out quickly and efficiently.
I wasn’t expecting much from the food, but it honestly blew me away. I’ve been to many Denny’s, and I can confidently say this was the best one I’ve been to food wise. And service wise! We placed a fairly large order, and everything came out fresh, hot, and at the same time. I was extremely impressed.
I made sure to apologize and personally tell the waitress and hostess that they were doing a fantastic job because they really were. I know working on Christmas can be tough, even with time and a half pay, since most people would rather be home with family. These staff members absolutely deserve praise for their effort and professionalism.
If I could give a special shout out to the team working between midnight and 1:30 AM on Christmas Day 2025, I absolutely would. They turned what could have been a stressful, late night experience into an unexpectedly great meal. Atmosphere was given 4 stars because it’s still a Dennys lol. (I realize I sound super annoying in this review. I was. People who go out on Xmas are the worst and I’ll do better next year!)
