Went out for dinner with my family this weekend ( 08/12/23) to Denny’s on S. Akers. The section I was seated in was very busy with only 2 servers, Yessenia and Arlene. These two lovely young ladies, were working short-staffed, and despite being extremely busy, they took this in stride and handled themselves very well. They remained composed, were consistently courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. Making sure to check in our table often to let us know the progress of our meal completion. These ladies deserve a raise and bonus for this.

Great experience every time I’ve been. Yessinia A. recently was amazing. I brought my kids, 13 and 10. She was dressed in patriotic attire because it was a few days before July 4th, and she made the visit extra special with her fun personality and flare. We loved it. She made our visit extra fun. Denny’s is our go to place when we have worked all day on our house and don’t feel like cooking. This Denny’s almost always has friendly staff, food is always good. I would have given 5 stars but there are those occasions when we get there and they are either out of several items, or staff forgets to bring us part of the meal. This last time it was toast, I didn’t bother to ask because I’m trying to eat less carbs, I’m sure if I pointed it out the waitress would have brought it. She was very nice and helpful with everything else. I always send everyone to this Denny’s when they ask where to go for a good meal.
