I don’t usually eat at a breakfast place but since we were in Santa Barbara we stopped here. You guys know how Dennys breakfast are but I was a little surprised that they took a little longer to get food ready but it was good. The waiter was amazing and he is the reason that we are going back to this place. Great job.

We went to Denny’s last night, and the waiter said “xie xie” to me when I handed back the menus to him. I’m Korean and not Chinese. I didn’t take pictures of the food I ate unfortunately, but I ate sweet corn from the menu along some other plates I shared with my friends, which looked and tasted pretty much like the canned corn but heated up. Overall, the food wasn’t bad, but the racial stereotyping of me as an Asian American was unpleasant and disappointing.

The food was good but found a “Bolt” in my plate . Reported to the manager or the guy at the counter and they said they are sorry that this happened. They asked to waive off the entire bill but we insisted and paid for rest of the order we had. This is a Heath and Safety Hazard and Dennys should look into it seriously . The manager’s reaction was like this happens and they are just sorry.
