I had a very disappointing and culturally offensive experience at the Denny’s in Riverside, CA on September 27, 2025. My group and I are strict vegetarians, and despite clearly specifying our dietary restrictions, our order was served incorrectly twice.
The server, Michelle G, reacted with visible irritation, refused to acknowledge our concerns, mocked our dietary needs, and even yelled when we asked to speak with a manager. While the manager eventually removed the charge for the nachos, there was no genuine apology, and the disrespectful attitude continued.
This is unacceptable, especially considering we’ve been regular customers at this location in the past. Serving the wrong food and dismissing cultural and dietary restrictions is unprofessional and disappointing. I hope Denny’s takes this seriously and addresses staff behavior and order accuracy.

I haven’t eaten at Denny’s in years but I have to say the service that Lydia provided made me feel spoiled and dare I say special?? She was kind, attentive and made me want to come back just for the experience. She made me feel like Denny’s really upped their game.

We stopped by Denny’s around 11:30 PM, and even though it was packed and there were only three people running the entire restaurant, the service was AMAZING.
Our waitress Kaylee was so sweet, attentive, and patient. She handled every table with a smile and never made us feel rushed. The manager Yahaira was incredibly helpful and hands-on, checking on guests and making sure everything flowed smoothly. And the cook deserves a huge shoutout — our food came out hot, fresh, and delicious even with the late-night rush.
You could tell they were working hard, and they still delivered great service with great energy. They truly went above and beyond.

Lydia is an excellent server I have ever met. She is courteous, professional, and kind. I also love the dishes prepared by the morning chef, who starts his work at 6 p.m. Everything was terrific for my breakfast experience.
