I stopped by this Denny’s in downtown LA for breakfast and had kind of a mixed experience. The diner is open 24/7, and I ordered the moons over my hammy dish one of my all time favorites there, the buttered crispy bread with the melted cheese and ham cant ask for a better taste, I also shared an order of pancakes with my partner which were OK. That said, the service was a tad uneven, some staff were friendly and kept our coffee refilled, but it felt a little slow at times, also couldn’t ignore there were people loitering outside and near the entrance which made the experience feel less comfortable

I want someone from corporate to contact me. This security guard needs to be fired immediately. He was ignorant, prejudiced, and harassed me at this location. His picture is below. I went to grab a tea before heading to my flight around 1:00 a.m. As soon as I walked in, he was not wearing a uniform. He was sitting down, eating and drinking like a regular customer. He suddenly jumped up and said, “You can’t come in. You have to wait until someone seats you.” I told him I was only grabbing a tea and leaving. He rolled his eyes and went to get the lady who normally helps me. When he came back, I told him he should be wearing a uniform and that there should be a sign stating “Please wait to be seated.” He then started yelling at me, telling me I needed to get out. I told him no because I hadn’t done anything wrong.
He then started walking toward me as if he was going to attack me, so I raised my voice and responded harshly. The young lady who knows me gave me my tea on the house because she knew he was being a jerk.
I have never had an issue inside that Denny’s before. He does not need to service this location. COMPLETE WEIRDO!!

Stopped by with the wife and kids passing through on roadtrip. Was expecting a normal experience like every other Dennys. Was thoroughly suprised by our server Jose who kept my coffee refilled and burning hot. With prompt service and a friendly attitude kept myself and the wife happy. Food was tasty and did not have to wait long at all. Very good dennys all round.

I wish they would accept EBT like others do. I really wanted to eat here and so did several other people I came in with. It’s right near Union station and I think it would be awesome if something could be done about it. Until then, I’ll enjoy the idea of one day having access to their delicious food at this specific location. Love ya but we’re hungry and Jack in the box and 7-11 are foul. Thanks for the attention on this matter.

I came today with my two adult kids for breakfast they love coming here. I bring them once in a while since our busy schedules don’t allow us to come more often. Today, we had a server named Andy great customer service as soon as we walked in. Our food was brought to us in good time it was delicious. Andy was very attentive and checked up on us. I really appreciate that. Thanks, Andy. we will be coming back soon

I go to the one Lankershim Blvd and the Burger & Fries Special ‘Banner has been their for longtime and has ‘Not been Change with ‘Specials Monthly or Weekly …You need to keeps Business ‘Fresh and up to date…Capture the Customer’s ATTENTION & the Management of Denny is not Doing it & the doesn’t look ‘Well $$$ Financially .. Everything was good. Except for the homeless guy outside. They let the guy ho into the restroom multiple times. He didnt look like he had good hygiene. My friend wanted to go to the restroom and opted to wait till we got elsewhere. Security guard was just on his phone. Other than that food was good. Service was good. Atmosphere was good.

The pancakes were very good as well as the service constant refill of coffee. However, the burger was very disappointing the patty was dry and tasted like everything you can imagine (I am assuming the grill wasn’t very clean).

Worst experience i have ever had. Ordered tbone and over easy eggs. The steak was tough and bland, the eggs served were scrambled, the hash browns were raw, and the toast was not toasted. Service was slow even though there was only 2 people in the restaurant. Sorely disappointed and couldn’t even finish my meal. Over priced for the quality and service.

7:30 AM, It really takes forever to get service. The place is empty as it can possibly get, I’ve been here for 30 minutes waiting to put in my order, staff are just talking to each other. There’s actually someone waiting to be seated and on one is tending to him. It another 30 minutes to receive my bill. The guy is too busy talking to the cute girl in the kitchen, does not pay attention to his job
