Today was not a stellar day for Denny’s. The chicken sandwich was overall good until I pulled out the tomato slice…
To make it worse, my item was the most expensive of the 3 we got.
The service was good in spite of the wait to get a table.

See update below. Most recent management change disappointing. The very small serving of hash browns was about inedible because of bitter tasting cooking oil. Are they now using motor oil to cook.with or is it just old?? No more gluten free or sourdough bread options. Great waitress but waited over 40 min for a simple breakfast order due to their being short staffed. Won’t be back again till they get their act together. Bitter taste in my mouth from hash browns won’t go away, ugh!
Update 5/11/2025. Despite being a VERY busy Sunday (hostess had the grace to warn us it would be a 45 min wait for our food), the staff were very friendly & efficient. Our server Ivan was excellent tho being very rushed with a lot of tables. Minerva who cleared the tables was very quick to get them ready for the next people waiting in line. Excellent service. And the food is much improved compared to our last visit! This was a last min decision to eat out on Mother’s Day since we’re having a big meal later at home, and every where else had 1 hr waiting lines. We had 2 senior specials and they were prepared perfectly and served hot.

Always a bustling place with the staff quickly handling your needs. One giant complaint on my part is the new waffles which are horrible. Soft and mushy they lack any custard at all which provides real waffle flavor. You might as well picture them as pancakes with a waffle texture. The change is no doubt one of those out-of -contact home-office corporate-think keep-up-with-the-competition I-have-to-justify-my-MBA decisions that never pan out in the real world.

I am writing this review from the booth while currently waiting for my and my grandfather’s food. I ordered a Chocana Pancake and my grandfather ordered the Grand Slam. We arrived here at 10:14pm and it is currently 11pm. We have seen our waitress exactly once when she took our order.
I used to work at Denny’s as a waitress(night shift) usually by myself in a full house with a single cook.
Currently there are two cooks and 2 waitress. 4 tables(including ours) are occupying the resturaunt. So far I am not impressed in the slightest. I will update my review once food is delivered. If its anything like the service, I will not be returning and will be contacting a few of my old co-workers in chain command to let them know of how their current establishment is doing. Update: Food was delivered at 11:15pm, the order was accurate but cold for service upon arrival I had to ask a lady for utensils since our food was delivered with none and ended up having to leave my table,walk to the line and ask for utensils(given plastic)
As Im listening to the waitress comment on her walkouts and the commentary from other employees,I can say while the enviroment is clean,the staff is falling far below even Mcdonalds employee service. I will not be returning and will be putting my old work connections to use.

We went on Christmas Day as there was nothing else open for breakfast although the wait was long the staff was doing the best they could because they were packed. When the food came out, it was better than expected. I hadn’t eaten at Denny’s in over 20 years and was pleasantly surprised.

Food is okay at best. I only come here with company of others because I enjoy diner space with friends. Their chicken? Fantastic. Their pancakes? Great. For some reason their eggs always come to me undercooked? I ask for over easy, I get over-raw. I asked for medium egg, I get over-raw. I understand keeping the yolk runny, but… I wonder if they think I just like a raw egg white texture? I don’t understand why it’s so hard to get a not-raw, decently cooked egg here.

Been visiting this Denny’s location for a few years now. It has always been a great comfort destination for me. The food is always made to order so it’s nice and hot, service is always super hospitable, and online ordering is done quickly and is still warm by the time I get home (I also do food deliveries as a side job and I have similar experiences from that.
The only ready I’m giving four stars instead of five is due to online order accessories. Often utensils, condiments, and one time a side was missing from my order. However, usually I have been able to call in and get refunded when needed.
A solid 8.5/10 spot for Midnight-Sierra Vista. Shout-out to Saxony for two years of great service ⭐

It was ok. The restaurant was mildly busy when we got there, but there was about a 15 minute wait before the waitress came to take our order. Once she took it I had to ask if we could get some coffee (which most usually ask about before the food). Then when the food did arrive it was the wrong order. Not a big deal and the waitress was very nice, just not really top level service. Once finished, I had to wait a considerable amount of time to get the check, which I thought was pretty expensive for two people for breakfast (almost 60.00 w/tip). A 30 minute stop for breakfast turned into a 90 minute brunch. All things being equal I would have a Waffle House to go to.

Order the super slam only got half my order so half the eggs and hash browns and 1 sausage and 1 bacon and the sausage has a bight out of it. the cinnamon pancakes are so good. I paid for the full meal at 12.99 but got half of it. I took pictures of it. Thanks Denny’s I have loved your food . You need to make this right for me to come back . Made the review on Tuesday the 26 th I’m now on Wed the 27 th now that I’ve been in the bathroom all night and day sick and 3 other family members are sick too from there food and in the scramble eggs there is a black bug crunchy that I have saved in a baggie in the refrigerator I called Denny’s for the manager but not in until Thursday for them to call me back. I will edit it tomorrow when they call me back.
