My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger and received a bacon cheese avocado burger. She told the manager about and she just took off the avocado and brought back the same burger. When we to pay, because she did not hardly eat any of it, the manager took it off the bill. She went to McDonald’s and got food. Good service… Bad food experience…

We are new to the area and have been here 3 times in the last couple weeks in the evening (between 7:00-9pm) 2x we have had Miranda. Our first visit 2 weeks ago, and our 3rd visit last night. Miranda is amazing. She is professional, very friendly and has gotten our order right every time with a smile, while handling multiple tables. She always has a good attitude.
We came in on Monday 12/8/25 for our 2nd visit. We had another server. I did not catch her name but she has short hair. We showed up at about 7:30pm. This server seemed pretty overwhelmed. She got our orders incorrect and also did not bring us all the food we ordered.
Around 8:30pm when we were leaving there was a couple of men coming in. The female server with the short hair ran to the door and told the customers that the restaurant was closed and turned them away. Another employee stopped and had them come in. We were confused about this as the restaurant is open until 10pm. But she continued to try to tell new customers that they could not enter.
When our bill was brought, we pointed out to her that she never brought us items we ordered on the bill. She told us there was nothing she could do about it. She had no authority to take items off a bill and then told us she would just make it now and send us home with it. We didn’t see the point of arguing so we took it and left.
We thought we’d also mention that while we were seated last night, another couple, who seem to be regulars, came in and sat down and called over Miranda and said verbatim ‘We need to have a talk about that little friend of yours that works here’. Then described the exact same female server, glasses, short hair. Said that this server attempted to turn them away saying they were closing on their previous visit, even though it still around 8pm. We were being nosy and talked to them about it and confirmed it was in fact the same server.
So mgt needs to look into why one of their servers is turning customers away? Maybe she’s a bit overwhelmed and needs help or something?

The Marketing Team at Denny’s is real good. We thought we found a new restaurant, a burger joint called “The Burger Den” but maps took us to a location where Denny’s was located. We haven’t gone back to look for any fine print but for $17-$20 plus dollars, we’d expect to not have been mislead and maybe a few more french fries and onion rings. I’ve taken time to post this, so others know The Burger Den is Denny’s. Give them a try but if you read this review then you know the full truth. Enjoy!

I had the best service during my visit! The lady at the desk immediately noticed I was in a hurry and went out of her way to listen and help me quickly. Everything was fast and efficient, which I really appreciated.
My meal was also delicious. I ordered the new Strawberry Stuffed French Toast Slam and it was honestly the best French toast I’ve ever had. The flavors were perfect and the portion was generous.
Thank you to the staff for making my experience smooth and enjoyable. I really appreciate being able to have Denny’s on my 30 minute lunch

We frequently visit for breakfast. This Dennys has a fun welcoming atmosphere. Our favorite server, Honey, always brings out the drinks before we even order! I’ve only had this type of over the top service on a cruise ship! The food is consistently good too. Five stars.

Restaurant was nearly empty. I ordered breakfast that comes with toast and it took almost 20 minutes to get my toast after my plate was already dropped off. Proportion sizes are not great. Coffee tasted burnt/old. The hashbrowns and bacon were cold and greasy. Condiments at my table were empty. See pictures… that’s two strips of bacon….

Nice restaurant and clean bathroom. They were short handed but did a good job considering. Food was good. There is a supply chain issue with Hinds ketchup so we had to share ketchup among other tables. I would eat here again.

The wife and I came in late, too late to cook, and found ourselves in front of Denny’s on Grand in Surprise. We very seldom go to Denny’s but had frequented the one in Anthem 4-5 years ago and, at the time, were somewhat impressed with their upgraded menus. At the time I believe Corporate was attempting to upgrade their offerings. So we were surprised in Suprise when we found their menus back to basic and the actual food when delivered, almost inedible. There was one waitress handling a dozen tables, causing a 20 minute wait to order and another 25 for the food to arrive. The only thing that kept us there (This is stupid) is they were offering what looked like an amazing apple crisp desert just for downloading a Denny’s app. This ad was displayed on the front door, stuck on the table and on a tag in the menu, all offering this IMMEDIATE fulfilment for downloading the app. Of Course we were burned. This stupid offering that kept us there was never to materialize. Their excuse was the app was supposed to send us a credit but never did. Aggrivating but not what will keep us from frequenting a Denny’s again. The horrible food and service will.
