To start, I had to wait for someone to come up front, and then I had to sign myself in with a crayon. The server wasn’t focused at all. We got our coffee then we had to wait for our eating utensils still didn’t get them until after we got our food only after we asked for them again and still waited 5 minutes until she finally brought them. The food wasn’t great, but edible.

I just ate here around midnight and enjoyed the experience. The look of the Denny’s was cool and our server, Jacqueline (I believe her name was) was great. It got kind of busy, but she was still on top of it. It didn’t take long for the food to make it out to us and when it did it was decent. If I find myself in need of a late meal, I’ll be back.

The food was fine, the service was a little slow considering how empty the place was, but it was the wait staff that was the gating factor in this 3-star review. They were polite however they all looked extremely unhappy including the manager. I referred to it as the disgruntled Denny’s. None of them were very friendly and they just all seemed really depressed. The person I was with felt the same way. I hope they get a more upbeat attitude because the historic nature of the building is really cool.

This Denny’s location has been here for over 30 years!!! Great food, friendly staff, homemade shakes always served with extra, and clean restaurant. The Cali Melt is a great sandwich I recommend it.
