The food was good and the service was FANTASTIC! Tamicka served up light and laughter along with our food, making our breakfast a memorable. As “out of towners” we also appreciated her sharing local current events like the shenanigans surrounding the escaped zoo monkeys!

This is the nicest Denny’s in the St. Louis area. I come to this location despite it being rather far from my home in the city. Jacob is a friendly, conscientious waiter & my food is always hot & tasty. Melissa, the manager, helped me set up Denny’s Rewards on my phone & her friendliness was a bonus. Had a great experience at this Denny’s. Abbey was our server and she was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out exactly right. Melissa, the manager, was also great and kept things running smoothly. The food was really good too. I got the Lumberjack Slam and it hit the spot. I went to Denny’s for the first time in over 20 years and I went to the Kirkwood location near i44. I had the most pleasant experience than I ever had in any restaurant for years. I was treated kindly by my waitress Jennifer N. and the cook who i.assumed was her significant other. Hands down the best cook and server . Waitress was very professional and friendly and the gentleman cook that late night (2a.m.on 02/22/2026.) went out of.his way to make me a meal I requested of.roast beef and it was so delicious just as I remembered 20years ago. Thank you (Cook and Jennifer N. ) for making me want to come back every week from now on. You two are exactly what restaurant employers need and it’s your dedication and hard work with a.smile. Thank you.

Yo -Yo – listen-up people. I am not your typical customer. I am a “prick”, very demanding but generous with a tip if warranted. The Denny’s in Sunset Hills is the place to be. Our regular waitress “Dana” sets us up like we are invited guests to the White House; her Mgr., “Melissa” always checks on our current level of satisfaction. Food is great, coffee is superb, but customer service is beyond reproach. I highly recommend this establishment. Tell them Bob C. sent you!!!!

We decided to stop at this Denny’s for a Sunday brunch and were very impressed with our server, Jake!
Jake was very personable and on the ball with coffee/drink refills without either of us asking. We asked for extra crispy hash browns and Jake was very communicative with the kitchen staff to ensure they were done that way!
Our over-easy eggs came out from the kitchen over cooked (not runny yolk), and we were quite apprehensive to ask to have them redone out of fear of coming across as rude; however, Jake promptly, and in a very positive and reassuring manor, requested the kitchen to have them re-made and handled the situation very kindly.
Jake was also assisting with re-fills of coffee and drinks for tables he was not currently serving to help his fellow servers while interacting just as personably with those customers.
We thought he was awesome!

Tamicka warmy greeted, she is ultra personable! She makes real conversation with her guests. All the food was piping hot and delicious! Tamicka was very attentive, we never had to ask for anything. It was quite apparent to us that she was genuinely invested in her Denny’s dining experience.

Usually a good atmosphere but today there were some knots flying around. I kept fanning from my food. Then one landed on my pancakes and I was done eating after that..lost my appetite. The service is Usually good but today it was mediocre. The waitress kept walking by talking really fast. It wasn’t that busy. The food was just ok today. I gotta give it a break cause this spot turned me off today.
