They were slammed when I entered Denny’s but the waitresses were on top of their game. It was dinner time when you expect them be be in dinner rush. They did an excellent job. I walked in and sat at the bar. The waitress for the bar section noticed me and let me know she would be with me as soon as she could. A couple of minutes later she had a drink in front of me and was turning in my order. The food came as I ordered it and was nice and hot. Never heard one complaint from any of the other customers. The manager at this store should be commended for putting together such a great team. I rarely get service and attention at a Denny’s in a Flying J. This one is exceptional. Thank you very much!!! I will be back. I can’t say that about some of the other Denny’s I’ve been to.

My partner and I stopped by on a whim and shared the original grand slam and it was delicious, they made perfect over-easy eggs and the pancakes were super light and fluffy. The bacon was a little extra crispy though

Eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Near our new home so it is convenient. Service can be hit and miss depending on which waitress you get. On all of our visits, the restaurant was understaffed. Twice the manager had to help out doing waitstaff tasks. That is a plus. Other times our drinks sat empty as our waitress turned her back and did other stuff less important than taking care of customers that pay her salary. Food has always been good and served hot. Since it is located inside a truck stop, the clientele and vibe is truck stop blue collar. Place gets lots of take out orders. Three out of four of the waitresses we had did their jobs well. The last one behaved like we should thank her for showing up. Will go back but, will scope out which wait staff are working before staying.

My waitperson, Jorge, gave me excellent customer service with a smile. He was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive in every way. Jorge made my dining experience pleasant. Great attitude! He’s a keeper and deserves a raise! God bless.

I used to loathe going to Denny’s. Some of the truck drivers are nasty and rude to the staff. They clearly did not learn any manners when growing up.
For the most part the staff does a good job. It’s not easy trying to keep staff when customers treat them like garbage.
Soo listen up people!!! Stop treating the staff like they are second rate people. Soon you won’t have anyone to serve your self righteous a$$.
Most people are nice until they become a customer. (That does not include my wife and I ) lol
The food is great. The consistency of flavor and presentation is usually spot on, unless they are short staffed due to how they are treated by customers.

Food is always good at Denny’s. It is our go to when traveling. The thing that sets the South Beloit Denny’s apart is the service. We had two different waiters helping us out and detail was paid to our order. The main waiter’s name wasGeorge. He was quick, personable and kept the coffee cups full. Don’t see that much anymore. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! THE FOOD WAS NOT WORTH IT! I had more oil on my plate than anything else! And it sucks because I order this dish every time I got to a location and barely got any Mac and cheese at all. The onion rings were room temperature. I had a wait to get my food and I’m fine with that because I’d expect too when it’s coming fresh but nothing on the plate was hot. Very disappointed. Should’ve just eaten meatloaf on the store side

Went to dinner with family and had a great experience. Savannah was an amazing server and we truly enjoyed our time with her. We had a minor problem with our table and she quickly and kindly resolved it immediately. Food was also great, but huge shout out to Savannah!
