Hit or miss. The first time I got their food for take out it was fine but the second time my burger was undercooked and the hasbrowns were undercooked as well. I didn’t order hash browns, I ordered the fries. The hash browns had a strong grease flavor.

My family went there and had a fantastic experience. Our server, Ricardo, checked on is often and was very nice and had a good sense of humor. Don’t even get me started on the food. I haven’t been to denny’s in a while but clearly I am missing out. The hashbrowns I had were exquisite and so was the rest of my meal. I heard nothing but compliments from the rest of my family and we seriously enjoyed ourselves. Shoutout to the chef. Ricardo mentioned that he had been working there like 30 years, did not catch the name unfortunately. Seriously had a fantastic experience, will be coming back for sure.

My Sister and I stopped in for a quick breakfast. Riccardo our server was excellent! Very professional and helpful regarding our meal selections. When we return another time, we are definitely asking for Riccardo to be our server. Great meal and atmosphere!

Man, ordered pancakes stacks, one original, one chocolate chip. both pancakes had chocolate chips when that wasn’t requested, Requested extra syrup in the order notes twice. Got 2 little tiny cups of syrup. Food quality was good. Whoever is checking these to go orders is not checking them right, this is the second time something like this has happened.

Nice restaurant in Hanover Park. I really like Denny’s restaurant, it has a good family friendly feel to it. My kids all love the place as there is always something that we all like. I love the omelettes with lots of veggies which you can customize as per your choice. My kids love their pancakes and hash browns.
Service can be a little slow when there are too many people.

My sister and I went in at 10:02 am for breakfast here and yet we weren’t even greeted hello by a server until Jessica came at 10:34 am and got our drinks and took the order. In fact, until Jessica actually came over, we were just glanced at by her and not approached. We didn’t order much, 1 order of pancakes, 1 order of crepes, side of hash browns and side of sausage links. However, the food ended up coming at 11:23am, after over an hour of waiting. This is absolutely ridiculous. Whoever hired a team that is not suitable for a fast paced environment should fire themselves. This is absolutely ridiculous. There was a table that was waiting for an hour and a half for their food as well. This is completely unacceptable and I over heard that there was food coming out before ours. Table next to us came an hour after us and got their food the same time as we did and we didn’t even order much. We ended up leaving at 11:41am and we got overcharged for the hash browns which were supposed to be 4.49 for the cheddar hashbrowns but it was an additional charge for the cheddar of 1.29??? But I guess the military discount that was added for the inconvenience made up for it, right? Not to mention, the server was audibly swearing and arguing with the cooks which is completely inappropriate at a place where often times there’s families with young kids. This place is an absolute joke. Never returning and will always be recommending AGAINST coming here to everyone.

Have been going to this location and the Hoffman Estates location and I only ever get the same thing every time. Their burgers are trash now. See attached photo. The patty falls apart instantly. I let the server know and they made the excuse that the cook smashed the patty down while cooking. This is not meant to be a smash burger!! I’ve had smash burgers that held together better than this. They offered to remake the burger but I refused.
Moments later the server came back to explain why the patty falls apart. They asked the cook and he said the cook stated that they’re using a new vendor for the burger patties. They’ve been having multiple complaints about it. The server was helpful throughout the experience. I wasn’t upset about the service. The quality of food, however, has decreased substantially.
I had the same burger at the Hoffman Estates location and it’s exactly the same thing. Don’t believe me? Just look at the photo. You can see through the burger patty!

Came here for breakfast and had a really good experience. The food came out hot and tasty, just what you want from a diner breakfast. Coffee was constantly topped off, which I really appreciate. Our server Sasha was awesome — friendly, quick, and made sure everything was right without us even having to ask. Service like that makes a huge difference. Overall, solid spot for a classic breakfast. Definitely would come back.
