Walked in,there was several customers like 7, waited like 6 minutes for someone to come out to seat us, dirty tables that hadn’t been cleaned off for awhile, waitress was not friendly at all, took our order, brought drinks, brought food out later and never came back until we was ready to leave, never asked if we needed anything,no drink refills, a guy was talking to her that worked there and he was friendly,he checked us out and was friendly, laughing and came up with a idea for the place and it was a great idea, change to 50 style restaurant with some light music in background and I would have to agree with him because the place was dead feeling. This is our 3rd or 4th time there and same dead atmosphere. We drive a hour to eat at Dennys since we do not have one in the Charleston,WV area which they need to put one in at Teays Valley area Hurricane area or Rt 119 Corridor G area in Charleston,WV. ecently visited Denny’s and ordered the Taco Skillet. A few days ago, I had the same dish, but it was missing the sour cream and avocado. The waiter apologized and gave me a 10% discount, which I appreciated.

I decided to come back to see if they would serve the full dish properly this time. After waiting 30 minutes, they finally brought my order, and it was the most awkward service experience I’ve ever had!

The inconsistency in portioning and the long wait time were disappointing. I gave them another chance, but this experience only confirmed my concerns about their service quality.

There was no one in the restaurant and we waited over 45 minutes to get our food. Then when it finally comes out she drops the steak so we had to wait again. Then my husbands hash browns were burnt black. Then my waitress is no where to be found. Had to ask someone else for her. Then I had to ask for more silverware bc the ones they have is still had food. Took 5 mins for her to bring another set.Then asked for the manager and it took him 15 or more minutes to come talk to us because he was busy outside smoking and he didn’t even try to fix thing except let me redo your hash browns. The rest of my food already cold. And the cups were disgusting and he said I don’t care about that. Wow great service had to take my food because I got charged.Then walked away and I got left with a $63.00 bill. Worse place I have ever been too! And when I went to pay my waitress is going to say what do you want me to do about it?

Place to order online to go. Was given a 20 minute estimated wait time. Knowing it was a holiday, I showed up 40 minutes after I placed the order to give them extra time. When I got in there the staff was extremely rude, but I understand it was the holiday. I told them that I had an online order. They did not even ask my name and directed me to sit down and they would try to find my order. I waited for 30 minutes with no attention. I finally asked someone if they could check on my order and gave them my name. They acted like I was bothering them but they wouldn’t checked on my order. When they came back they told me the reason my order hasn’t been fulfilled is because they were out of the food. They gave me options to substitute and then said they would go to the kitchen and find out how long it would be. They disappeared for another 20 minutes and then when I ask them for an ETA they basically told me that they had no idea and walked away. I waited for another 20 minutes and never received anything. I asked politely if I could cancel my order. The girl I talked to said that she would see that it was canceled but couldn’t give me any confirmation. She went and got me a manager that then told me that they couldn’t cancel it and I would have to do so on the app but the app would no longer let me do that because they already marked it as picked up. They told me I would need to call the 800 number. Now it is the next day and after the hours that the 800 number should be open and it is still not open. The phone number to the restaurant is ringing busy constantly and goes to a voicemail that doesn’t work. I am now out $50 and no food and no way to get a refund. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

Ordered strawberry cream french toast and a waffle. French toast seemed like it was hours old and the strawberries were rotten. They were supposed to give me 4 sausage links and a order of bacon. I got 2 links and bacon. Tried to call but it goes straight to voicemail. They don’t have waffles so when I came to pick up the order they asked if I wanted a pancake instead. Over all poor customer service and low quality food.

They don’t have tomatoes, queso, swiss, sprite, apples… Etc. She gave me a list of 10 things that were not on the menu bcuz they are cutting budget.. But they still charge the same prices.
Will not be back for sure. If you’re losing money and don’t have important stuff that most people would want just close it down. Instead of not having everything on the menu and still charging full price

DO NOT GO HERE! We drove 45 mins just to go to this Dennys since its the only one in the area and the women who were working the front on 11/01/25 at 11am were miserable, terribly rude and disrespectful people right from the get go. All the tables were dirty and we waited for 25 minutes for a booth before she angrily tried to sit us at a table, I guess asking for a booth was too much for her to handle because they were too lazy to clean up any of the booths that were trashed. All of the wait staff were in the back, laughing doing nothing. We just walked out after the wait staff caused a scene and punished us. Will be calling corporate and blasting this locations disgustingly rude staff on Facebook and othersocial media platforms.
