A Muncie Experience
Great food and service! Even has a bar! You don’t see that at many if not any Denny’s locations around the United States. One of the only locations in Key West where you can have a sit down meal any time of day. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our server was excellent! We were seated promptly and greeted immediately. Fast, efficient and great service all around! The bar was a nice added touch but does close at 1am I believe. A fantastic option for a late night, early morning meal or anytime of the day for that matter! I am definitely coming back to this location the next time I’m in Key West whether it’s for another meal after a night on Duvall Street, for breakfast, lunch, or perhaps a drink or two at the bar! I highly recommend this Denny’s! Located in the Overseas Market in New Town next to Winn-Dixie grocery store. Also, try your luck on the claw machine located near the front entrance in the waiting area/ lobby!

Only two tables in the entire restaurant and had to ask for service after being sat. Waitress was very unfriendly and dismissive. She also overcharged for three of our four meals which the manager on duty discounted but only because I brought it to his attention. We also went during their advertised happy hour but we had to go out of our way to request the happy hour menu and offerings from the server. All in all it was a terrible experience.

Vistor from Jacksonville, FL. In town on vacation. Location was great. I liked how it has multiple floors and full size bar, never saw that before. Waitress was very nice and helpful, wish I could have got her name to list. Would have given you 5stars but the AC wasn’t working. The food was great and came out fairly quickly. Dennys gave me a free breakfast reward for my birthday. So be sure to download the app and create your profile.

After reading some reviews online about the great happy hour Denny’s has we decided to give it a try. It was a disaster. 4 of us walked in for a late lunch and there was 1 individual at the bar. We got sat a nice big table and the sever came over handed us menus and asked what we wanted to order. We had literally just sat down, so we asked for a drink menu. She walked away without saying anything and came back a few minutes later with a drink menu, which was one of those Plastic holders which also had a specials list on it. (Not sure why they aren’t in the tables when you sit down). But we all ordered a beer, and waited until we got our drinks to order food. We got 2 cheeseburgers, which were the daily specials and my hubs for chicken fried chicken, and we also ordered a salmon dinner. The burgers were greasy, heavy, the bun was cold and the fries tasted like they had been sitting there for a bit. The chicken fried chicken was burnt and the Mac and cheese side was horrible. We asked for our check and we were charged full price for everything. We politely asked the server about the special prices on the burgers and drinks and she huffed away to get her manager. My worst experience in kew west. I will never go there again.

I have gone here a few times and only once was it good and that was during lunch hour. Otherwise it never taste good (dinner menu) at night or if it’s late. And it’s also way overpriced. At night the service is very slow. However, I understand it is expensive to run a business in this area and they are short staffed. But last time i dined in with my family, the older waitress was just sitting in a booth gossiping for over 30 minutes when we were ready to leave. I literally had to send my son over to her just to ask for some to go boxes. She never refilled our drinks. Food all has no flavor and horrible texture but they want premium prices..its insane.

The service was not interested in the customers, not sure what was more important. She didn’t ask for drink order until she came back the third time for our food order. We were told the only soup available was soup of the day. No dessert offered and min 18% tip at the register!

We are down here visiting. We only have IHOP where we live so this was different. The food was really good. They have a ton of options. I got the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, my husband got the meaty melt with bacon added and our girls got chicken strips and breakfast items. Julie M was so attentive. Have you ever seen a Dennys with a FULL liquor bar? It’s Grand Slam and a High Life Sunday for breakfast! Food was quick and delicious. Don’t wait for a table, just grab a spot at the bar. Bar seats have backs. I wonder if this was a Friday’s or a Tuesdays before. It had that layout/feel. Would absolutely be back!
