My breakfast plate did not have what it said in the menu. I did not get any bacon, which I should have and my hash browns were so hard I couldn’t eat them. The waitress that seated us brought our drinks ,but did not offer creamers. When I asked she said she didn’t think they had any and she would have to bring me some milk. Was definitely not what it was last time I was there. Waitress was friendly and pleasant.

So, my friend in Cumberland took me to a nearby Denny’s in La Vale, Maryland, for my first-ever American diner experience. Since we went after lunch, it wasn’t too crowded, but the service? Super friendly and welcoming!
I ordered the Wild Alaskan Salmon with a side of mac & cheese… kind of a weird combo, but surprisingly, it worked! Definitely a solid first diner meal.

Get the kitchen exhaust fans fixed or replaced. Always foggy with fryer smoke and always leave smelling like it. I don’t understand how you can put money in a “remodel” but don’t address this issue. Food is good and servers are always friendly, just fix the fans!

Almost the worst Denny’s I’ve been to. The waiter is the only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. Although I never did get my check.
The only Denny’s I’ve been to that didn’t do a military discount. Also the only Denny’s I’ve been to that told me they only have Hollandaise sauce until 2 pm. Seriously?!?! My salmon was dry. The corn was cold. The Mac n Cheese was good. I had to remind them it was supposed to be served with dinner bread and when I finally got my bread, it was cold and soggy. This cook SUCKS!!!
To top it all off, the entire restaurant had a haze. I think maybe their vent exhaust wasn’t working because I heard a compressor running when I was walking through the parking lot. Whatever the reason, it was smoke because my eyes were burning by the time I left. I should’ve backtracked to the closest IHOP so I could get a good meal. Very disappointing.

Food is made to order. Fresh. Server has a great had a beautiful personality. Dessert was good cookie was hot made to order a la mode. Knew when I done eating brung my bill expedient with a group order

Place needs some new fryer hoods because it’s always foggy with fryer grease. Food comes out looking like pig slop. Burnt ends means you are getting charred hockey pucks. Call them with an issue and they say they will fix it but don’t. Not a place to go eat. Horrible. Servers are usually nice at least.

Monica our waitress was really amazing. She had a smile great personality and made our “Girls Night Out” visit great. We laughed and helped make it a lot better. She will prob ever forget us and “Watching calories.
