This Denny’s in the hood in SE DC, a nice soulful experience. This Denny’s is a lot of people’s favorite!…My waitress is always wonderful, and I love Denny’s pancakes. I just wanted a little more food per serving for my money. I can get the same platter, seven dollars cheaper from IHOP, with more food. I felt like they were skimping on my already lean build it yourself platter. What did it, were the two different sized sausages last time. One big, one small, and cooked different? The person plating the food should have taken notice.

We wanted to go to ‘the meltdown’ GPS brought us to Danny’s.
We weren’t familiar with the area and after a quick Google search, the meltdown is part of Danny’s? (LOL who knew??)
Ordered brisket meltdown came with fries. Also ordered the bourbon chicken skillet with pepper and onions, no mushroom.
Our waitress was very nice, she had a wonderful bubbly personality. There were customers already inside when we ordered. We arrived around 2:45am. Service was friendly, welcoming and speedy.
After ordering, it wasn’t much time at all that passed before our food arrived hot, steamy, and just as the picture to our table.
Absolutely loved this location! Highly recommend.
I was however surprised to see a lock pad on the bathrooms, but our waitress gave me the code before entry. Bathrooms were well taken care of.

10/26/2024- Yum! Stopped at this location for breakfast after attending the Oxon Hill High School Shredding event at 8am. I ordered potatoes, scrambled eggs, Turkey bacon and rye toast! The restaurant was not crowded. We were seated right away. We had a window seat. Our server was so sweet. Loved it all!

Horrible! I order two order of nachos, one plate had a few chips and the other one was completely soaked with oil some part rubbery and stale. This is the second time it happened to me from this location. Definitely not fresh. I spoke to the manager and all he had to say was we fry them freshly. I just threw my money in the garbage. Thanks Denny’s!

I love the LumberJack Slam Breakfast meal. My order was hot and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful with Great customer service. Restaurant was clean but the parking lot parking lines needs to be repainted.
