Great experience – Saturday night, was busy, but staff on top of everything (book before hand especially on a Saturday) staff was really friendly and welcoming, checking on you throughout. Really expensive but very worth it! Food was good too ☺️

Wonderful experience at Denley’s Essence of India. The quality of food is excellent in taste and beautifully presented and there’s a wide variety of options on the menu. Booking in advance is recommended but we have occasionally been able to eat without booking in the midweek. The staff are very friendly and polite and attentive. It’s not the cheapest curry available but it’s by far one of the best experiences in the local area and is therefore excellent value for money.

Fantastic punchy flavours, tap Cobra cold and fresh. We enjoyed all the dishes. Portion sizes were also spot on. Perhaps no need for same salad garnish on the appetizers but we ate them all anyway.
Service team were friendly and fast but several occasions we did have to request for simple things like empty plates for sharing and desert menu which should have been taken care of without request.
Starters took a while to arrive but was a busy night and luckily we had poppadums and dips to keep us going during the wait. Pilau rice bowls were all charged extras on the Specials menu which wasn’t clear as on opposite page curries all came with rice included. Misleading so be sure to clarify!
Overall worth the little trip and the money for the whole experience!

Best Indian around by miles. Food is so well cooked and tasty and not at all greasy. Book early to make sure you get in. They also do takeaway if you prefer. Staff are excellent

Yes the food is delicious, however they need to sort of out their takeaway service….. there isn’t really anywhere for people ordering take away to wait which means they are hanging around next to your table whilst your trying to eat, not great and it makes me it really noisy!

Fantastic dinner for too at Denley’s. Always such a warm welcome upon arrival and despite not having a reservation, they were able to accommodate us.
Definitely recommend booking in advance.
Can highly recommend the chef’s specialities. The tamarind dish was divine!
They have a good selection to suit all tastes with exquisite mild dishes and some spicy sounding ones for the more adventurous.
We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back again soon.

New Year’s Eve extremely busy. They worked so hard to serve everyone, making sure they acknowledged all customers coming in whether for takeaways or a sit down meal. Great staff & the food was beautiful. We highly recommend this place and will definitely come again.

Quick search on Google Maps and found this place with very good reviews so decided to visit and they were definitely not wrong. Everything about this place is fantastic from the nice decor to the very friendly staff and most importantly the awesome food. Both my work mate and I thoroughly enjoyed it and if we are ever working around here again we will most definitely return.

Many years since I’ve been here and it has changed hands so wasn’t sure what to expect. We had an amazing meal, couldn’t fault it in any way, really fresh, authentic, flavoursome food and great service. Highly recommended it.
