This place is incredible! The ramen was hot and tasted incredible, and the noodles were definitely authentic and fresh – chewy and thick, cooked to a perfect consistency.

Very good tempura and karage, and the ramen was decent in my opinion (soup was not as flavorful as that in most ramen places, egg was overcooked, chashui was decent). It’s opened recently, so I hope the quality will go up and the menu gets expanded.

I love their healthy homemade dishes by Japanese owner chef! My favorite best restaurant so far and they are very nice! I found this place on Instagram and their Ramen is special. I can tell the taste is gentle and mild, not the strong taste as other restaurants because they don’t use chemical seasoning and I love the dishes especially authentic Ramen from scratch and fresh Sushi!! This place is new and popular with Japanese people and I really recommend this restaurant for the people who cares for healthy homemade food!

I first tried Denju as the pandemic was beginning to wane — yeah, the numbers are trending downwards, but most people in Indiana have decided everything is over and are out spewing their germs on each other in the most unsafe ways they can come up with. So I have to applaud a restaurant sticking to requiring masks, pick up only, and even setting up a makeshift plastic barrier to slide food to customers from. I feel safer eating here than anywhere else in this town, and that will continue even when the pandemic is truly over. Surely this serious attitude towards safety and cleanliness applies to their cooking in general.

We always pick up during the pandemic. They really save our lives whenever we have no idea what to eat or we’re lazy at cooking by ourselves. Their food is so good. Yuzi ramen is my current favorite. They always update their menu which gives us surprise sometimes. I’m not sure if any new dishes coming in the future would become my newest favorite. By the way, the fried oysters always come with nice quality.

Very good food. Katsu-don, kaarage (spicy) and the shio ramen were delicious. Kaarage is different than fried chicken we are used to, but it was so light (non greasy), flavorful and juicy. Katsu-don was great and hearty meal. Waitress is always very nice when we go there.

I happened on Denju while traveling through West Lafayette and was thrilled to find an authentic, Japanese chef owned restaurant! The owners welcomed me like a friend and made a wonderful vegetable tempura dish — the best I’ve had since my last trip to Japan. The restaurant is cozy and elegant and the quality of the food excellent, beautifully presented, and clearly made with dedication and love of the art of traditional Japanese cooking. The people of West Lafayette are lucky to have such a gem in their community! Denju will be my first stop when I’m in town again!

I’ve tried all their different ramen types: Broth is good, noodles are poor (they should make their own or get some Sun noodles..), chashu is great, egg is always a little overcooked. They provide a container of ‘ramen pepper’, which is pretty nice. Price point is reasonable and wait staff are friendly.

Amazing food! I got the spicy fried chicken, and the spicy soy sauce ramen. Both were incredible, just the right amount of heat. I wish we lived closer, because we would be regulars
