They were -slammed- when we got there, so seating and service took a little extra time but it was well worth the wait. Our server Sarah(?) was sprinting through tables and up and down stairs doing her level best to keep up with the black Friday rush. Everything was excellent, and as a spicy food lover I was very surprised to find the spicy steak and cheese packing a good bit of heat. Wash it down with a flight of Manhattans for an entirely pleasant afternoon.

We absolutely adore the food and vibe of this place. Set in old town Warrenton, we make sure to arrange our travel to enable us to stop in for dinner. This evening, after a challenging trip for us, Lauren C was a delight. The menu specials change by day of the week and month, and tonight did not fail to deliver. The Sesame seared tuna was perfect, fettuccine Alfredo flavorful, drinks were fun, and the apple pie! The apple pie! The owners are strong supporters of their community, and it shows by the support they receive from the community! Bravo!

Our family routinely enjoys brunch on the weekends at Denim & Pearls. Our daughter and I often split a Monte Cristo. My second favorite is the avocado BLT. During nice weather days, my wife and I enjoy sitting outside and ordering the $10 mimosa special with fifty cents refills. They offer several mimosa flavors. The grapefruit is tasty. We highly recommend brunch at Denim & Pearls. The lunch menu is reasonably priced.

We got appetizers and a couple Halloween seasonal drinks. Fried pickle spears is always good versus chips. That’s a big plus. The poison apple drink was very good. The rest of the food we ordered was nice as well. Server didnt know the menu too well when I asked the difference in mussel sauce choices. Not a big deal but maybe they need to just train the servers on the menu and drinks a little better. Overall great late lunch and early dinner. Will be back again.

This is a great restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, including a unique cellar bar on the lower level. The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the portions were generous. We even received a return gift, which was a nice touch and definitely encourages another visit. I would absolutely go back and enjoy it again. As I always say, don’t just take my word for it—try it for yourself. Happy eating!

Recommend reservations for the weekend. We were asked if we had reservations as we did not, they were able seat us at the bar promptly though which was appreciated. We ordered a few appetizers and some drinks. Everything came out in a timely fashion. Food was hot and delicious. Bartender was checking up on us in a consistent manner. Hubby and I enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come back.

Absolutely loved this place!! The ambiance was incredible. Definitely took advantage of the .50 refill on mimosas. Loved the lobster bisque and the apple goat cheese salad. The braised short rib and the grits with the shrimp and grits could use more seasoning but it was decent. Beignets were the perfect ending to our meal…

I don’t often write reviews, but wanted to share that I had an excellent experience with Naomi as our bartender Saturday evening. She’s so personable, kind, and a joy to interact with. I’d actually stopped going here due to poor experiences with other bartenders. She definitely made up for it and now knowing the days she works we will absolutely be back!

We have been coming for years and this is our Christmas Eve go to place. We always try to get a window seat and watch the downtown activities with the decorations. The menu varies, but you can always find a dish that you’ll love and want to come back for. Always great food, drinks, and service. The cozy atmosphere is wonderful and we’ll continue to make the trip from Stafford often.

Would not go back again. We went to this restaurant during the pandemic and really enjoyed the food, especially the mussels, so we were excited to go back and enjoy a nice lunch on our day off from work. Upon entering the restaurant, no one greeted us even though there was bartender, a waitress, and another guy working on something near the front of the restaurant. We waited at the host stand for few minutes until someone saw us and we were seated.

The first thing we noticed was all the flies everywhere. It was so bad that I had to constantly swat them away with my hand when they landed on me and of course when the food came, it was a game of Wack o Mole. This is an indoor restaurant with outdoor seating as well, but there should not be that many flies getting into the restaurant. It would seem that they are breeding within the restaurant for the many that we saw. The restaurant really needs to address this asap. Even the waitress bringing our food complained about the flies.

The food we got was mediocre at best and the salmon I got was absolutely horrible. For $24, I would expect a fresher tasting salmon. The Rice Pilaf and Green beans that came with was pretty bland. With that said, we really did enjoy the shrimp taco appetizer.

The server tried her best to serve multiple tables inside, upstairs and outside tables and it was too much for her to handle. We waited a long time to get refills on our drinks. I had to ask the bartender to get us some plates as we had tacos for appetizers and didn’t want to spill anything on the table since no plates were brought to the table.

Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with our experience. I think with a few fixes, addressing the flies, acknowledging patrons immediately when they enter and not serve semi fresh fish would certainly help.
