Above average dumplings here. They sell frozen wontons, dumplings, and shumais here at a reasonable price which is nice and convenient. Interior-wise, it is a small shop with limited counter seating.

Last minute decision to check out this place and it turned out to be amazing. We got the grab a snack pork and veggie dumplings sauna fried and they were juicy and so tasteful. The service was incredible as well. It was quick and the server also gave us chilli oil and vinegar on the side. We loved it so much we ended up ordering another plate. Can’t wait to come back and try out the other dumplings.

I am honestly surprised this place has such a high rating and hype by Avenue. The dough is super thick. The filling lacks taste. We ordered them steamed, the dough was not done so we asked them to pan fry them a bit. Well she gave us burned dumplings. I understand mistakes happen, but she saw very well what she served us and did not even bother to offer a new batch. I thought only one was burned down. But what pissed me is that she strategically put them all with the burned side down so I would not notice until it was too late to say something. This is not crisp. This is charred.

The best dumplings I’ve ever had. They were so delicious, im still thinking about them. The lady was really friendly and gave us a free chili oil. The dumplings took maybe 10 minutes to make and were so hot and fresh when we got them. I would go out of my way to go here again next time I’m in Calgary!

I finally had the opportunity to visit Deng’s Dumplings’ second location, and it’s closer to me.
The wife was working at this location while he stayed back at the original.
I got the Hungry Man Water Crispy Pork Dumplings. From previous experience, I requested extra crispy, and she happily complied. The extra crispy request makes a big difference!
The filling was nice with a good balance of flavors without an overwhelming pork taste. The skin was much better with the extra crispy crunch to contrast the juicy meat centre.
The wife was so generous that she offered me a free drink and their famous Special Chili Oil. What a kind and generous offer. This is why so many of us love supporting Deng’s Dumplings.

These are the ultimate in comfort food dumplings. Big, chewy tasty little pillows of yum!! The staff member was friendly and informative and it was a pleasure having a chat with him. I found Deng Dumplings on TikTok and I’ll definitely be back. Wanted to share photo of dumplings but couldn’t stop eating them.

Very speedy service from a very sweet lady! The pork steamed dumpling regular meal was delicious! Some of the best dumplings I’ve had in a long time! The food was hot and fresh, and fairly filling! Although I feel like I need to eat 100 more because they were so yummy! Was in and out in less than 5 minutes!
