Stopped in here with my dad while we were in Skokie and can confirm my dad was obsessed with the French fries (he ate the whole basket by himself). We split a kebab meal and the chicken was tasty. The baklava was excellent, and the whole restaurant overall was very clean. I def want to go back to try more of their food!

Dengeos has been at this location for decades and we have been coming here for decades as well.
Over time, they remodeled and expanded and also opened two more locations in the Chicago area.
It’s a family owned establishment that serves very good tasting food in a very friendly and casual atmosphere, along with friendly staff and all at a reasonable price.
That’s pretty hard to do consistently for decades but they have somehow pulled it off.
If you have not been here, take your family there for a chill evening. You will not regret it.
Also, I would highly suggest tipping at the register since they do all the cleanup for you afterwards instead of you having to take your dishes to the garbage yourself. The staff definitely deserves a tip.

So, I passed this place a few weeks ago driving through Skokie. I looked it up, the food looked great, the double cheeseburger looked the best to me. Today I was in Skokie again, and so I just had to try it. Called in an order to go. The guy who answered the phone was nice, very knowledgeable, and FAST, I placed my order for a bacon double cheeseburger in like 20 seconds, no joke. I picked up the burger told the guy behind the counter I never been there before, he says “oh, this is your first time here?” And gives me a free drink! How nice is that!? I get in my car and open my burger, it smelled terrific! I bit into it, and immediately found myself trying analyze the flavor as to when I had a burger this good? It was AWESOME!!! perfectly cooked, tasted like it was right off a grill, patties were perfect size and thickness, great bun, delicious bacon! A total home run! Highly recommend! If you are in Skokie, you just GOTSTA!

Dengeo’s is the BEST!! We had them cater our huge party and they absolutely crushed it. Every single dish was incredible and bursting with flavor — the Italian Beef was the star of the night, but truly everything was demolished. Our guests were raving about the food nonstop. Huge shoutout to Chris, Nick, and Jerry for getting us perfectly set up and making everything seamless. This was our third year having Dengeo’s cater our party, and we’re already looking forward to many more!

Stopped at this place because I had a taste for gyros. I ordered 2 Gyros with everything and 1 Chicago Dog to go.
The first gyro was disappointing. The meat was dry and it was missing the tzatziki sauce. The second was spot on and delicious although the onions could have been more flavorful. The Chicago Dog was on point but lacked the Celery salt.

The restaurant is newly renovated and the atmosphere is great. When it comes to the menu, it feels a bit overwhelming with sandwiches, salads, or dinner options. It’s a little hard to decide what is recommended here. The food was good and it came out quick. Almost a mixture of a diner and fast food place.

The kitchen can get busy after 3pm, so it’s better to phone your order in if you are short on time.
